    Hey Vault Dwellers!

I chanced upon a cracking YouTube video by our good friend PCOutcast the other day and it was so good that I thought it would make the basis of a poll.

What PCOutcast has done is go through EIGHT things that he'd like to see in Elder Scrolls VI. But its not simply a case of reeling off the list, he goes into detail about 'why' those things should be there...

It's quite a long video - it will take about 20 minutes to watch, but it is actually worth your time!

I've made his eight points into a poll and you can vote for more than one option in this poll. But don't just vote and then leave us hanging - tell us WHY you voted as you did, and give your reasonsĀ

This could be a really interesting discussion if we all take the time to consider PCOutcast's points and then discuss them...

Honestly, the one that really jumps out at me is more meaningful perks. I'm kind of done with dump perks like Barbarian and stuff. I'd prefer huge perk trees that have added abilities or mutations of a skill/spell.

Wow, you guys really like more meaningful perks. I mean, yes, some perks are outright useless, but I dont think its enough to want for meaningful ones, they just dont work the way we wanted them to. I wish theyd incorporate Hardcore mode. Though it wont be an innovative idea on Bethesda's part, I have played Diablo II in HC and let me tell you guys, the thought that you actually just have one life in this game really gets you mentally, even more than dead is dead. Of course, this will interfere with the save game mechanic that they have, but its still a nice addition to have. I'd like to see or just hear Shor say, "Your deeds of valor will be remembered" :D

Voted for the perks, spells&damage and quests.

However what I would really like to see is more meaningful choices and consequences.

Like guilds and factions hating each other, making it impossible to join all of them on one character; even locking whole cities and quest bundles behind such choices.

Or being unable to progress further into a guild or faction questline until you have gained a certain amount of reputation with said guild.

Or being unable to progress further into a guild or faction questline until you have gained a certain amount of reputation with said guild.

Or guild quests locked until you raise your skills to certain level, Morrowind style.

I voted for all of them but I think you should include more options:

    1) No multiplayer and co-op.

    2) No kids or at least make them killable.

    3) No faction locked items, powers and locations.

I voted for all of them, those ideas are what make a good Elder Scrolls game.

If I were to only choose one it would be weapon and Armour customization, like there is in Fallout 4, but I would like to see aesthetic customization as well - to give it the more personal touch.

Another idea I would like to see included is more roleplaying choices - for example, joining Alduin and helping him destroy the world or helping the Thalmor in the civil war. This was something Fallout 4 lacked on slightly, you are forced into being Mr Nice-guy.

The lack of people always jumped out at me. Hopefully they can increase the NPC population. It always feels like the vast majority of the people in the world are bandits, and you single handedly wipe out 80% of the population. They don't have to give everyone a voice, I'd be fine with the nameless citizens with no bearing on the game just having a line of text like "this person is busy" or something like that. Solitude just never had that hustle and bustle feeling that a major walled in city should have. How are the market people getting by selling 3 fish a day?
