We have news of changes in the way that we are covering Fallout on the site.
As you'll be aware, we originally created 'copycat' groups for Fallout that mirrored those we already had for Skyrim. Whilst that made sense, it hasn't really led to active groups. Rather than have semi-dead groups hanging around, we have decided to rationalise everything as follows:
1. Fallout Character Building: this group is staying as a stand alone group. We already have well over 20 builds and things are bubbling along quite well over in the group. The group has been without a host for a while,which hasn't helped - so we have added Motty Skills as the new Fallout CB Host. Motty has been an active builder, as well as a great help and support over in the group, so he was by far the obvious choice. Welcome Motty! We look forward to seeing what you do over there...
2. Fallout Hub is the brand new place for ALL other Fallout content - tips, guides, lore, roleplay, news, speculation, and more. This will combine the resources of three groups (roleplay, lore and T&T) and we hope will develop into a lively ..ahem.. 'hub' for Fallout. Mr Edd will be hosting, along with new host ProbsCoolerThanYou.
This means that if you have posted something (worth keeping) in EITHER Fallout Lore or Fallout Tips and Tricks you NEED to copy it over by May 20th. After that date we will delete those two groups. If your content was in Fallout Roleplay you don't need to do anything, the 'new' group is a renamed version of Fallout Roleplay.
With two DLCs out, along with Survival Mode and the Creation Kit - and Far Harbor and Console mods on the horizon - we think there is plenty more to come by way of great Fallout content on the site. So if you haven't yet joined Fallout Hub, then head over and join up now
