Thanks Chris for your post...let's me see what I can post in here...lol.  Anyway, thought I'd share the E3 video for this one.  Looks pretty interesting and I'd seen a few comments lately that they'd like to see a space game.

Now...if someone can just tell me how to actually get the video to show up like Chris' did...lol. (And...figured it out..lol)

Looking forward to this, despite the fact I' a bit wary of procedurally generated games, and... I actually have no idea what the game is all about aside from exploring planets.

It really does look pretty, but gonna be a hard pass for me. After a number of hours in Elite: Dangerous, I can tell this type of game isn't my cup of tea.

From what the video says there's going to be three phases to the game exploration, trading and combat. At the very beginning of the E3 video when you enter a system there is intergalactic combat happening and you can choose which side you'll be part of by firing on a ship from the other faction. Beyond that I'm not sure how you go into the trading or exploration part other than flying around but it will be interesting to see if there are any NPC interaction in the game and how they present that for gameplay. Oh by the way I did delete my other post in the main part of the group once I figured, thanks to Chris, that I can post like this. I wasn't sure since it was not a build for anything

I haven't checked that game out but yes, the group that I heard about this game from have also mentioned that one as well.

This sounds like a pretty cool game. I'm just not sure if my computer can run it, lol. Systemrequirementslab says that it can at least do the minimum, so there's that :D

I've always been a big fan of Minecraft, and this sounds somewhat similar, with mining and resources and such. The trading sounds cool too, and being able to get different ships. I think this would be my first "space" game, though.

I'm on the fence about No Man's Sky, myself. There are so many good games in the genre like Rodina that it'll be hard to make this game stand out.

    I'm excited for it
