KOTOR Event Build: The Dealer of Death

I suppose there is regret in all men's hearts. Even one who is as twisted and corrupted as I am. While there are those who use the Force for Peace, or even for Conquest, Protection, War or Combat, I do not, my simple use of the Power has long been for murder and destruction. Perhaps that is why I lay now, staring at the stars as I slowly await my coming death. Perhaps Karma, or the Force, or whatever you believe is responsible for justice and fairness has finally caught up to me, my acts of pure evil have resulted in my death now, so close to finishing my mission...And to think, it was that idiot Malak who killed me.

    Class: Soldier - Level 7

"I suppose this is the logical place to start. Who is Revan, the conqueror of the Mandalorians, killer of Mandalore, enemy of the Republic. It seems that my role for the Republic, whether fighting to destroy or protect it has simply been one of destruction and death. That is what lead to the Jedi replacing my memories with that of a Soldier I suppose."

    Consular - level 13

"Ah the Force, I have been out of touch with it for far too long. I'm unsure if the Jedi Council actually bound my powers, or simply forced me to forge them but I have had to struggle every day to become nearly as powerful as I once was. But I am at that level now, perhaps not as powerful as I once was, but still strong."

    Alignment: Full Dark Side

"I will not hide who I am. I am Revan, destroyer of people, conqueror of worlds, Dark Lord of the Sith. I am the one who has trained scores of Dark Jedi to spread chaos and death throughout the galaxy, the one who trained Malak, who has completely destroyed more worlds than even I (And he was a fool for that). I am undoubtedly Dark"

Skills: Treat Injury (major), Computer Use/Repair (Minor)

Equipment: Darth Revan's Robes, Sith Mask, Dominator Gauntlets and an Adrenaline Stimulator

Lightsaber: Heart of the Guardian +  Upari + Sapith

    Strength: 14 (23 - +9 item)

    Dexterity: 12 (14 - +2 item)

    Constitution: 10

    Intelligence: 10

    Wisdom: 16 (20 - +4 level)

    Charisma: 14

    Master Dueling:

Dueling for me was an interesting decision, I've rarely decided to go with a single saber because, let's admit it, the style isn't quite as flashy. But I felt that it'd be nice to try it and I wasn't disappointed at all, the Dueling Bonus to defense is actually pretty awesome, plus it is a slightly more accurate attack strategy.

    Master Flurry:

I simply couldn't pass it up. Sure Power Attack might be powerful, possibly moreso with this build, and the damage bonus would've been awesome, but I just generally prefer Flurry. Dealing two hits instead of one, and with my relatively high attack bonus it was usually two successful hits.

    Master Toughness:

Toughness is pretty much a requirement for any character that gets up and close ever...I mean, the extra Vitality and slight Damage Resistance is just pure awesome.

    Master Conditioning:

I'll admit, Conditioning was in part a simple throw away perk, I had three left and nothing else to really add them to. Conditioning is at least a valuable perk, combined with some of the equipment it means Saving Throws are fairly high all across the board.

    Plague:

With this build I mainly wanted to use Force Powers that I never really touched, and for the Dark Side...well it basically meant everything but Force Storm. I found Plague to actually be a remarkable Power, the -12 for Strength, Dexterity and Constitution was excellent.

    Insanity:

Heh, what can I say, Insanity seemed like a powerful as all hell ability against...well all non-droids, it has a decently high save, (5 + 13 + 7 = 25) but I chose it more because it was fitting rather than anything else

    Death Field:

Death Field is an interesting choice for a Dark Side User who doesn't have access to Heal, the idea of healing 10-40 damage each use isn't quite as powerful as Heal but it does have the benefit of dealing damage as well.

    Master Speed:

Master Speed is the clutch for just about any character, it gave some nice bonuses, mainly the 2 extra attacks.

    Kill:

I honestly didn't use this too much, I preferred the use of Death Field for damage, but arguably Kill is more powerful. It can either deal half damage, or (with a save of Fortitude 25) only 13 damage. It's powerful if they can't save, but still not quite as useful as I'd have liked.

    Force Lightning:

That's right, my throwaway Powers went to the standard Dark Side power, obviously I would have needed to use this against Droids of all kinds, I mean Kill, Plague, Death Field, none of them work on Droids.

I suppose, that my story doesn't matter that much. I did what I could to gain power and to kill, and in the end, I was killed by my own apprentice. I could tell you about how I got there, who I met and what I did, but it truly doesn't matter. I killed, I died, I dealt people a shitty hand, and got dealt a shitty hand. Even in the force all things must be equal and even my desire to recapture the Star Forge ended in death. I suppose, that this is it for Darth Revan, and the rise of Darth Malak must finish.

Thank you Chris, it was a fun build to write, and a lot of the powers were nice to play around with. I'm looking forward to seeing your entry into the Event.
