Greetings and salutations everypony to my next build for the Cyberpunk 2278 Event. Inspired by the badass artificial humanoid agents such as Major Motoko Kusanagi of Ghost in the Shell fame (Or infamy if you take the recent-ish live action adaptation), and Konoko from the Bungie West developed 2001 game Oni. Combining quick hand-to-hand combat, stealthy takedowns, and run-and-gun combat, welcome to…

This is Dr. Miles Asimov, head of the Bioscience division. Today we managed to recover the body of a woman, a Brotherhood of Steel operative, apparently of some relation to the Director. While near death from a Vertibird crash, we were able to transfer her consciousness into one of the prototype Gen 4 synths, more human like than even the Gen 3.
According to her memories, she used to be a covert agent for the United States government, named Leanora, or Nora for short, Kusanagi, a transfer from the Japanese Special Assault Team. Well, looks like we got ourselves a new infiltrator.
Welcome aboard, Agent Kusanagi,,,,

GAMEPLAY
Combat as the Synthetic Infiltrator is comprised of both long range and close range fighting. First off, equip your Seburo C26A (More on that later), and using the scope, either snipe (if your quest calls for it), any objective enemies, or use it to scope out the area. Preferably take, in the immortal words of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, the high ground, and scope them out from a higher plane of elevation, like a cliff or balcony. This weapon is primarily meant for recon, but taking a few pot shots at any melee foes while they come into range helps.
Once that’s done, then it’s time to engage. One thing I learned, partly thanks to FudgeMuppet, is that Blitz actually works with Unarmed attacks. So with that in mind, and with both sneak attack bonuses and Iron Fist, this will increase the damage you deal with even barehanded knuckles. Simply sneak up, and then VATS attack them, the farther away you are when you have Blitz level 2, the more damage you’ll do your opponents.
Once the fists have flown, time for some run and gun fun. Swap out for your CROSS Vector (Again, more on that later in the equipment section), and head into VATS. The Vault-Tec Automated Targeting System always felt more augmentation in-universe to me, so it fits the cybernetic nature of the build. Once you run out of AP, simply hip-fire your way out of whatever firefight and sprint away from combat. Simply complete your objective, and GTFO. Take cover when needed. If you run out of ammo, simply swap back to the good old fisticuffs until you’re out of combat.
Faction and follower wise, here’s how it went down. At the start, I swapped between helping the Brotherhood, and the Railroad. The Brotherhood because of their goal in stopping dangerous technology from falling into the wrong hands, and the Railroad due to their covert nature, and Deacon. Later, after I got to the Institute, I had the Synthetic Infiltrator side with them, not because she’s a heartless Courser who wants to subjugate her fellow Synths, no, no, no, its cause A. The Institute is really the only ones with the reliable means to repair/upgrade Kusanagi if she gets damaged or wants an upgrade, and B. The only ones with the technology, if led by the right person, ergo her. Who better to dictate what’s best for synths, than a synth?
Follower wise, aside from Dogmeat on occasion, I went the way of the lone wolf.
Say hello to my not so little friend.
EQUIPMENT
Aside from any grenades I could buy/find, here was my gear.
Seburo C26A
As I had access to Nuka-World, here’s how I upgraded the Handmade Rifle
Advanced Receiver
Long Covered Sniper Barrel
Marksman’s Stock
Small Quick Eject Magazine
Short Night-Vision Scope
Suppressor
CROSS Vector
I utilized the Wastelander’s Friend variant, which can be bought off of Deb at Bunker Hill.
Hardened Piercing Auto Receiver
Long Light Ported Barrel
Sharpshooter’s Grip
Large Quick Eject Mag
Recon Scope
Muzzle Break
SPECTRE Synthsuit
While you sadly cannot apply Ballistic Weave to this (and we’ll only be wearing the wetsuit), the Marine Wetsuit is, in my opinion, a lot better looking than the BOS Officer Uniform. If you have the Creation Club or mod Chinese Stealth Armor, use that, preferably with a mod that lets you remove the mask.
Alongside this I wore Road Goggles.
ROLEPLAY
Try and talk your way out of a situation first, especially in regards to other Synths. Use Gabriel’s Recall Code, for instance, rather than busting a cap in his shiny metal ass.
Try and focus on the target of the quest, rather than killing everyone in your way.
Go for the Flirty options with characters that strike your fancy.
Never remove your or Nate’s wedding rings.
Recommended Mods
Synthful Traitor Cyberpunk Outfit-Adds in quite the nice ensemble, complete with prosthetic limbs
Cryopod and Memory Lounger Beds-I personally used the Memory Lounger bed to simulate the Infiltrator using it to relieve memories of better times….and have VR sex.
GITS Motoko Kusanagi outfit-Adds in the Major’s iconic outfit, and looks damn good with CBBE.
Major Motoko Kusanagi - A LooksMenu Preset-Adds a preset in that looks a lot like the good Major. Requires the LooksMenu mod, which is a lot like Skyrim’s RaceMenu mod.
10mm Pistol- Stahl Arms STA-20 (4k AND 2k)-One of my favorite retexture mods, featured in my last build. Gives the 10mm a nice sci-fi look to it, eh?
Thanks for Watching

Nice looking build and inspiration and I love the MODS addition. One thing - is the name "infiltrator" or "operative"? the title artwork has the latter name...
