You're not the only one weirded out by it, which is why I decided to focus just on the Machete films.

Would expect nothing less from you Lis! It was an awesome presentation, and your wizardry with Powerpoint still blows my mind :0

I've seen Machete at least once, but I can't remember much about the film itself; I can only remember that he was badass, and a low strength (who would've thought) melee mercenary with a mind for vengeance going through the Commonwealth to get back his little Machete... well 'nough said. Nailed it ;-)

Yeah, Ash was a high strength melee and Hobo used basher, so he was high strength too, but I wanted to try something different with this build. I think it paid off well. Man, when he killed Kellogg I was like WOAH, so I reloaded and did it again and yeah, he's pretty powerful when the perks work for him.

Nothing like a great set of gardening skills to help you survive in the Wasteland, and I wouldn't be really surpised if Machete had Green Thumbs... xD Seriously, he's like the Orc of the Wasteland. It has everything: gore, cheese, and ugly badass faces that won't stop you from winning that chick with your sheer badassery. Pure cheese, Lis, pure cheese, love it. :)

Teineeva dared me to use that line and I did. :D

And yeah, I loved that I was able to romance Magnolia.

Thanks Motty. You and Amo inspired me and supported me and the other builders in this event, that's all I got to say. :D

I don't know whether the mental image of Machete in a tight corset should be disturbing, hilarious, or both

I'll tell you this, Chris, I can no longer go into the Combat Zone without smirking. Just went in with my fun playthrough last night and was all lolling. :D

Somehow this slipped through my net - praise be to the front page features for showing it to me!

Another excellent build Liss, with - as always - absolutely stellar presentation. You set the standard for how to present a Fallout build!

The machete is such a badass weapon. It feels great to swing and has a really visceral feel in the game. This build maximises that vibe in a very engaging and fun way.

Thanks, Paul. I was glad to participate in the event, kudos again for Motty and Amo for doing such a great job with both the event idea and really being supporting throughout the whole process.

Unfortunately, this will be my last build of any kind for some time, as I want to refocus my attention back to writing and hosting my sections.

So freaking cool! I absolutely love the vibe and presentation of this build... it's just like the trailer!

And currently featured on the TV Twitter and Facebook pages ;D
