Backstory: A police officer studying at Cambridge young Leon showed exceptional talents. After a few years on the job, learning how to handle a wide array of weaponry he was noticed by the United States Government itself. His potential was forseen and they immediately installed him as a personal agent for the President's daughter. On one particular mission Leon was ordered to depart for West Tek, and all the horrors he would soon uncover... Once stationed our humble agent met the Mariposa Crew, and found himself investigating into the nearby B.O.W. research from their prestigious scientific research firm. This is where Leon first acknowledged the production of the PvP virus, (now known as FEV) and the gruesome experiments that came with it. As such a deep hatred manifested itself into Leon as he soon commissioned extraction from the job site. Retiring some years later heading back to the Commonwealth, his beautiful wife, and new-born baby boy. He would try civilian life for a change, but then the Great War demanded he pay tribute sending him off to fight for his country. Once again Leon found his way back home, but to his dismay to uncover yet another mischevious corporation in his own backyard... Commonwealth Institute of Technology (CIT). Here he found even more evidence of biotech leading into dangerous depths for humanity, and another strain of FEV was discovered. Finally, exhausted from the constant warefare and B.O.W. researchers Leon took a break to settle in Sanctuary Hills, a top-notch neighborhood home to good people. Little did he know his life was about to change... The climax of the Great War decended into chaos, plunging the country into nuclear fires. Forced to leave Leon makes way to Vault 111 with his family, however he never expected it to be an experiment for Vault-Tec. Once frozen into cryo-sleep some years later he awakens only to witness the murder of his wife and abduction of his child; regretfully Leon sinks back into unconciousness finding himself free from his icy slumber who knows how long after. He knows one thing, and one thing only: He WILL find the son-of-a-bitch who did this, and he WILL have his revenge...

What I used for apparel through use of mods (which will be listed at the end of the build) was simply either army/military fatigues with baliistic weave, or green shirt/combat boots with a bomber jacket overtop. To finish off the look as well as getting some extra armor and AP we can opt for some shadowed ultra-light leather leg-pieces.

As for weapons you can really use whatever you'd like since Leon is a diverse fighter, but personally I always carried the following: Assault Rifle, Sniper, Pistol, Knife. (swapping the AR for a Shotgun when circumstance demanded) Also I ONLY used ballistic weapons and "ordinary" explosives (moltovs are acceptable) to enhance RP purposes.

Strength (4) - He mostly carries his own weight, and has enough to get the job done.

Perception (4) + BHGotta have good enough eyes to hit those headshots; after all he wasn't hired by the government for nothing!

Endurance (1) - He may have been running around fighting zombies, but he had a gun for a reason.

Charisma (3) - He's popular with the ladies, but that's about it.

    Intelligence (4) - He isn't a genius, but he isn't dumb either.

Agility (9) + SB - Years of working for the government didn't pay for nothing. His gunplay is truly terrifying.

Luck (3) - Who needs luck when you have skills! Although he does find an unusual amount of ammo in a zombie town...

    BH - Bobblehead

    SB - SPECIAL Book

Danse: “Know Your Enemy” – We hated zombies then, we hate ‘em now.

    MacCready: “KillShot” – ‘nough said…

Preston Garvey: “United We Stand” – Sure knows how to take a punch! This’ll also help with our lack of armor.

Combat Perks - Perks to bring the pain; anything that helps our damage output

Support Perks - Useful for assisting Leon in either skill or regeneration

Utility Perks - Used outside of combat for unlocking or modifying items

I didn't want this to become another sneaky-stabby character like my previous event build (hence my lack of input on the Sneak perk) however I wanted this to be tactical; I wanted it be something that you could have fun with. Something to maybe even understand how the AI works in the Fallout universe and toy with that through your developed knowledge. That is why I chose Leon (and the fact that it was Halloween themed, who better to pick!). So that being said lets get into how Leon actually plays...

So as we know our boy L doesn't naturally run into the danger like that dunce Chris Redfield (only jokes :P) he is a little more tactical about how he approaches certain situations. So we'll want to get a sneaky first headshot with whatever weapons we happen to have at the time to get an advantage in a firefight with multiple foes (and god willing: explosives). And speaking of explosives they can be a decisive factor in many occassions where you may not have won, like for one instance throwing a moltov into a group of raiders (effectively thinning the herd and weakening the big guns). Or maybe setting up some mines before picking of a few grunts, shortly after watching their bosses go flying ragdoll style... Anyways I think you get the point; Tactics are key. Personally I like to classify Leon as a bit more than this, but if you really wanted a basic understanding of his playstyle I suppose you could say Run and Gun. The singular critical the game so generously provides us with is our go to in the early levels; either when you don't have explosives handy, or when your plan doesn't go...well according to plan. It's also a great way to engage long distance combat with a pistol (if you don't yet have a sniper) or you could go for the cinematic knife finisher that we've seen countless zombies fall prey to. This build really works on how you approach the broad term of "tactical."

Botherhood of Steel - learning that these are the decendants of the mutineers of Mariposa Military Base Leon decided to join ranks with them with no better intrest in mind but to dispose of FEV, and it's creations

Main Quest - You're hell-bent on revenge and what better way to get it than marching into the CIT's (Institute's) front door with an army at your back?

Far Harbor - The last major questline I would recommend doing. Think of this as a mission turned sour from the BoS; an assignment that leads Leon to the discovery of another Institute subsection with possible FEV involvement.

Jackets and Coats of the Commonwealth - You can wear things like Bomber Jacket and Maxon's Battlecoat overtop of undergarment type clothing: (NexusMods)

Atmospheric World - Basically just makes the world have a creepy post-apocalyptic haze/fog: (Ps4/ XB1)

Assorted Bomber Jackets - Well...does just what it says :P (XB1)

Seperate Coats - Does practically the same thing as the 1st mod (Ps4)

**(Being as every platform has some sort of Ballistic Weave mod I'd personally Recommend using one, but if not then feel free to do the Rail Road Quests until you unlock BW. Then I'd report them to the BoS or leave them alone)

Big thanks to Postman as well as Delta for helping out with my backstory, AND of course thanks to everyone else who stopped by with words of encouragment/critique!
