Hail citizens of the Imperium! Er, hello my fellow Tamriel Vaulters, to my second contribution to the Secret Origins Event! Its been awhile since I last kitted up in Power Armor and sided with the Brotherhood of Steel. If you’re ready to crush some muties, ghouls, and synths for the glory of humanity, then look no further than....

Throughout the years prior to the nuclear devastation of the Great War, America, China, and any other allying nations devised many super soldier programs to try and end the war, I was a part of one. Project Imperious it was called. They used a mixture of chemicals and genetically engineered implants on us, increasing our strength, speed, endurance, extending our lifespans, slowing the aging process to a crawl, and in a fair number, giving us some very unusual features or abilities. Our units were given the moniker of Orbitalis Marinus, or Orbital Marines, as we, with the aid of Power Armor and jetpacks, often acted as shock troops, descending from near-low orbit altitudes, though different from the unaugmented Orbital Drop Shock Troops.

Not long into my career, I fell in love with a beautiful rookie lawyer by the name of Nora Blackwood. Thankfully, we were still fertile, so I was able to have a healthy baby boy with her, which we named Shaun after her father. That was a little over a year before everything went to Hell in a handbasket, and the nukes started flying. After I awoke in Vault 111 to find Nora dead and Shaun gone, I knew what I had to do. I was gonna get a semblance of my old gear together, and kill anything that stood between me, and Shaun....

    GAMEPLAY

Basically, this Event FINALLY got me to try my hand at making a Space Marine in Fallout again. What we got here is a Power Armored badass wielding a Ripper as well as a few guns and grenades to just utterly carve and blast through his enemies, with some chems to spice it up.

In essence, rather than seeking cover and hiding like a cowardly raider, you’ll instead take the fight to them. Running and gunning towards your enemies, once you’re within reach, with the help of hotkeys, to your Ripper, or in 40K terms, your Chainsword.

Now, speaking of said Ripper, the Extended weapon modification not only increases the reach of the Ripper by a decent bit, but also the damage, which will be further boosted by Chems such as Fury and Pyschobuff.

Now, your Power Armor, which will be the highest level version you can find, especially the X-01, which can easily be found, upon reaching level 35+, at 35 Court. Simply head there, kill the robots within, which in my case were an Assaulttron and Sentry Bot, and claim your prize. The upgrades really don’t matter, except for a Jetpack torso. Aside from just being fun to fly around in, this also allows an easier way to do any explosive landings.

Beneath my Power Armor, I wore a simple BOS Officer Uniform, which I gor from killing Brandis AFTER having done the quest, simply did The Lost Patrol with Danse, left Danse back at base, then, RPing that Brandis has gone mad, blew his brains out, as well as the BOS Hood, and sometimes a pair of Road Goggles.

Your main weapons, aside from your Chainsword, will be any found, made, or bought grenades, and a 10mm Pistol, AKA your Bolter, with the Advanced Receiver for a faster Rate of Fire, more sensitive trigger, and more damage, the other mods don´t really matter which you use, as long as the gun is semi-automatic.  If you can find it, get an Explosive one, or if you have the usage of mods, then either craft it or remove the effect from a gun, and place it onto your 10mm. Alongside this, if facing tougher/bigger opponents which you need some heavy fire to take down, The Last Minute, a unique Gauss Rifle you can buy from Ronnie Shaw at The Castle will do. Grenade wise, I primarily stuck with the basic Frag and Pulse grenades, using Plasma ones when I could grab them.

Your primary means of attack, if you aren't in a Vertibird, which if you are in one I recommend playing Wagner´s Ride of the Valkyries for some extra badassery, is to either A. Use your Jetpack and explosively land in the middle of your enemies, or with the Pain Train perk, slam into your enemies, and with Danse, use a mixture of melee and ranged to carve through them like a chainsaw through wood, or like a Chainsword through a Greenskin, which the Super Mutants will substitute for, except Super Mutants are probably a bit smarter than Orkz

Faction wise, we'll be cruising with Danse and the Brotherhood of Steel, with their creed of killing all Synths, Super Mutants and Ghouls, and organization making this character feel right at home and destroy the Raider Gangs of Nuka World, as well as annihilating the Synths and Children of Atom in Far Harbor.

These foul mutated chameleons stand no chance against the Orbitalis Marines

As stated earlier, aside from the Jetpack, it didn't really matter what mods are put on the other pieces. However, I would recommend the Explosive Vents on the legs, and perhaps a change in the light color on your helmet for some neat glowing eyes when your Pip-Boy light is on, I would also recommend upgrading your armor to the highest rank you can, so for X-01, I believe this is Mk. X.

If you have any mods that add in more colors for Power Armor, I say go for what looks best aesthetically.

    Recommended Mods

Now, since I am a PS4 user, and thus do not have the modding capabilities of my PC and XBONE friends (Thanks a lot for that Sony), I am not able to use these mods, but I found some, alongside showcase videos, that could help

Relic Power Armor-Adds some weathered, badass looking, and customizable, sets of 40K Power Armor

40K Bolters and Bolt Pistols-Adds in the badass Boltguns (Commonly referred to as Bolters), and Bolt Pistols, to the world of Fallout 4. Bolters are, in essence, small rifles, or SMG looking weapons, that, either in semi- or full auto, shoot out bullet sized 40mm grenades.

    Roleplay

Aside from getting Nick out of Vault 114, you won´t do anything to help Ghouls, Synths, or mutants. Ergo, while you will help Jack Cabot through his questline, and Rex in Trinity Towers, you'll be rude as possible to both Strong and Edward Deegan, and possibly kill everyone in The Slog.

If possible, arm your settlers with laser weapons and maybe basic light Combat Armor, so your settlements will be well defended.

Collect any technology you find, including Sensor Modules, laser weapons, fusion cores, and the like, so they don't fall into the wrong hands.

Never consume alcohol prior to a battle, only after to celebrate if you wish.

    Closing Notes

Thank you, my dear readers, for going through my second Secret Origins build. If you end up playing this baby, post down in the comments. And always remember, Mankind is superior to any mutant, heretic, or xenos!

I'll copy it over for you Chris (once I do let me know if there's anything you want me to change/shift around mate)

Aright there we go. How's it looking for you Chris? I kept everything more or less the same but I will admit to feeling a strong compulsion to change the size of your section titles and couldn't move on until I did so :P

I like the build, I won't really comment on it since I don't play nearly enough Fallout 4 (nor am I versed enough in Warhammer Lore to understand that part of the build) to make any real comments but it looks pretty damn good and I like the general idea of the character.
