"That rug really tied the room together."

Prior to his conscription "The Dude" (Official alias Jeff Lebowski) was part of the New England Commonwealth's champion bowling team. His trio were the top bowlers in the Massachusetts area, their primary rivals (The Holy Rollers) being based in Bar Harbor, Maine. The Dude served in the Anchorage Reclamation but unfortunately suffered an injury during combat and to his dismay would never bowl unassisted again. He spent the next few years self medicating on alcohol and recreational drugs and met a like-minded "Dudette" with which he settled down and after an unfortunate accident they had a child which they named Shaun.

His SPECIAL and Perks are the following:

    • S 5

    1. Armorer 4 (He will get the ballistic weave from the Railroad to put on his bathrobe)
    2. Heavy Gunner 5
    3. Steady Aim 3 (He will put one hard point in strength and get the bobblehead to achieve this)
    • P 1

    1. N/A
    • E 4

    1. Chem Resistant 2 (The Dude isn't an addict, he's just a recreational user man)
    • C 5

    1. Lone Wanderer 4
    2. Party Boy 3 (The Dude likes his drinks, in particular White Russians)
    • I 1

    1. N/A
    • A 8

    1. Action Boy 3
    2. Quick Hands (Remedies the striker's slow reload very much)
    • L 4

    1. Bloody Mess 4 (Shows the impact and how much of a good bowler the Dude is)
    2. Idiot Savant 2 (For levelling purposes and the Dude isn't the smartest either)

Unfortunately as we all know the bombs came and the Dude fled with his family to the confines of Vault 111, eventually after his escape the Dude clad in his bath robe and shades will embark on a pilgrimage to Far Harbor (previously known as Bar Harbor) to pay respects to his rivals. There he discovers something that will change his life completely, The Striker, with its assistance he can now bowl again! Eventually he will arrive in Diamond City, taking his time as the Dude does and he will purchase the fat man, big boy and he will mod it to have the bowling ball launcher (this allows us to create ammo now, so you will no longer have to worry about finite bowling balls). I decided to name the new stiker either the following, Walter-Donny or Two Strikes.

Now who the Dude sides with in the long run is up to you, it's all about who pissed on his rug. The Faction he does decide to turn on he will label "a bunch of nihilists". He will have no problem bowling them all over like the pins they are. On a minature self made side quest he will adventure looking for the long lost Championship bowling ball of his former team, I will not give any hints where it is located. But once it is found he will begin building a shrine to bowling with this as the centerpiece.

Roleplaying the Dude is fairly simple, make your character as laid back and lazy as possible in speech, do not engage in combat unless you are attacked first. He wears Sunglasses and a Bath Robe (equipped with ballistic weave). He will use drugs on the occasion, though he is not a junkie. A great move you can perform is getting your luck up with alcohol and getting your crit bar full then critical striking an enemy in the head from really far away with launcher, I call this move "Strike!".

Back onto the subject of the shrine the Dude aims to construct, here is a little checklist of what is possible to collect relating to Bowling in game, I will not name the locations in case anyone wants to go in blind (if you must, you may find the locations on a wikia)

    114 Bowling Pins

    12 League Bowling Pins

    1 Championship Bowling Ball

    1 Championship Bowling Pin

Regular Bowling Balls vary, there are 39 none vendor ones in the base game alone.

Thank you for reading and remember,

lol well you have me on the humor level and I obviously love the source material. "The Strike" is a nice special move. And the checklist provides some direction. One question - where does one acquire said bathrobe?

Hilarious man. You should add in what are the dude's alternative guns to the Striker. You can get that only a bit later into the game and you can't always use heavy weapon ammunition. :P

Once you're finished, send me an email with what story you want for your prize and don't forget to put in the screenshots! If you're playing on PC, enter the console by pressing ~ and type in "tfc 1" followed by Enter. Close the console with ~ and everything is frozen in place whereas you can freely move the camera to take pictures of your dude. Remember to do this in 3-rd person view!

Ok so, there are a few places, one MAY be found in Monsignor Plaza, but there are definate ones at Aldersea Day Spa in Far Harbor.

The Striker mod placed on the Fatman Big Boy produces infinite ammo kind of, while waiting for this I suppose the best thing to do is use the best weapon available, you can probably get the Striker at an early level by running though it may take an attempt or two but suits the Dude's less confrontational personality.

I have accomplished my mission, good to see a few get it. I think Fallout 4 is great for emulating characters.
