First of all, quick apology for the lack of pictures or fancy things such as bold text etc, I'm on mobile because I don't own a PC and you can't do these things on mobile.
    The Gunslinger

~BACKGROUND INFORMATION ~ This build is a VATS based pistol build focused on the use of VATS in combination with a .44 Pistol and various luck based perks to bypass the need for perception, with some chems thrown in to boost our damage for those tough legendary enemies, with the goal of creating a unique and fun build that has no difficulty tackling enemies even on the higher difficulties.

~SPECIAL~ Our starting SPECIAL is 3/1/4/3/1/9/7, and by the time the build is complete, our SPECIAL should be 3/1/4/3/3/10/9. The You Are Special book found in Sanctuary is used to boost our agility to 10 at the very start of the game. Here are the reasons behind our SPECIAL point distribution. -Strength: Strength was set to 3 to give us just enough strength for Armorer so we can upgrade our armour to compensate for our fairly low endurance. -Perception: Perception was set to 1 because we are using luck based perks to completely bypass any need for perception. -Endurance: Endurance was set to 4 to give us enough strength for Chem Resistant, an extremely useful perk as it stops us from getting addicted to that sweet sweet Psycho. -Charisma: Charisma was set to 3 to allow us to take the perk Lone Wanderer, perfect for people like me who can't stand followers. :P -Intelligence: Intelligence was set to 1 and then levelled to 3 to give us access to Gun Nut, an incredibly useful perk if you are using rare weapons such as Gauss Rifles or in our case, .44 Pistols. -Agility: Agility was set to 9 and then levelled to 10 to give us access to Gun-Fu, an amazing perk that is going to allow us to bypass perception and stay in VATS infinitely as long as more than 3 enemies are alive. -Luck: Luck was set to 7 and then levelled to 9 to give us access to 6 perks, so that we can boost our damage to the max.

~PERKS~ This build is all about using perks to bypass perception and achieve high damage. By level 50 we should have our final SPECIAL and the following perks: -Armorer 4 -Chem Resistant 2 -Lone Wanderer 3 -Gun Nut 4 -Medic 4 -Gunslinger 5 -Gun-Fu 3 -Scrounger 4 -Idiot Savant 3 -Better Criticals 3 -Critical Banker 3 -Grim Reaper's Sprint 3 -Four Leaf Clover 4 Key Perks are: Lone Wanderer, Gunslinger, Gun-Fu, Better Criticals, Critical Banker, Grim Reaper's Sprint and Four Leaf Clover. ~INFINITE VATS~ I mentioned earlier that this build will achieve infinite VATS, this will be accomplished through the use of our signature weapon, Kellogg's Pistol. Kellogg's Pistol comes with the Relentless legendary effect, which replenishes all of our AP whenever we score a critical hit, this combined with Gun-Fu, Four Leaf Clover, Critical Banker and Grim Reaper's Sprint means we are pretty always firing critical shots at our enemies, replenishing our AP each time, against a particularly large group of mole rats, I was able to re-enter VATS 3 times without having to wait for my AP to recharge.

~BYPASS PERCEPTION~ The best thing about criticals for me is not the damage, it's the guaranteed that comes with them, meaning as long as you can target it in VATS, you can hit it, even if you are part of the 1 perception master race.

~ENDLESS CRITICALS~ So, we have Gun-Fu, Four Leaf Clover, Grim Reaper's Sprint and Critical Bamker, all working together. This combination of perks is deadly, with every VATS kill giving us a 35% chance to refill our critical meter from Grim Reaper's Sprint, as well as our high chance to get another critical each time we hit an enemy in VATS (and we always will because we are going to be a critical shooting machine) and critical banker allowing us to save spare criticals gained during our fights. With these perks, we should never run out of criticals. And thanks to Kellogg's pistol, once we finish up in VATS, we can just start the whole cycle all over again, more criticals, more damage, more killing.

~THE GEAR~ As mentioned earlier, our weapon of choice will be Kellogg's Pistol, which comes with a built in Bull Barrel as well as the Comfort Grip, as well as the Relentless Legendary effect described earlier. Gun Nut will be used to upgrade the receiver to the max upgrade possible, Gun Nut was chosen over scavenging .44 pistols as I struggled to find many .44 pistols in my play sessions, and those that did didn't always come with the mods I needed. As a backup weapon for situations where there weren't many enemies, I carried the Righteous Authority that you receive from Paladin Danse, as the double critical damage and excellent range of laser weapons turned this pistol into a crazy pistol-sniper. The downside of this weapon is we don't get our AP back on criticals but it certainly makes up for it in the damage department Other gear is pretty much up to you, I chose to go with a military hat and some sunglasses for the extra perception and for some style points, as the extra little bit of perception is useful against enemies at long ramge. Apart from that, I wore some Green Shirt and Combat Boots with Combat armour modified with the Ultra-Light mod, for the reduced weight and extra AP.

~THE GOOD STUFF~ Chems. Chems are awesome, boosting damage, slowing time or just allowing us to take multiple shotgun rounds to the face without even flinching. Chem Resistant was perked so we can get all of the upsides of chems without having to deal with pesky addictions. My favourite chems were BuffTats and everybody's favourite, Psycho. BuffTats give us 3 endurance, strength and perception, as well as +65 max health for 8 minuts, more than enough to clear out a raider camp or blow up a super mutant base. Psycho is a free 25% damage boost and a small amount of damage resist. It stacks with Lone Wanderer 3 and boosts our critical damage too, allowing us to hit like a truck with just a pistol.

~PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER~ We have a way of generating criticals at a solid rate, as well as perks that boost our criticals and a badass revolver that gives us our AP back whenever we score a critical. General combat strategy for me is to pop some Psycho and some BuffTats, run in and open up VATS and just start targeting head after head, once that's done, I just sit back and watch the show, occasionally using a saved up critical before I get the free ones from Gun-Fu if an enemy is particularly far away. ~THE END~ If you made it this far without crying at the wall of text, congratulations! I'd like to take this moment to say thank you to anyone that reads my build and if you do decide to try it out, I hope you enjoy it, I know I did.

I've never really played a soley VATS or soley Pistols build before but this one looks quite good. It has a lot of information on how to play the build effectivly. I make my builds on mobile too so I know the struggle but you can still add stuff such as bold text and different fonts.
