    I knew someone would use the Mini gun shredder before I got my build out, anyway I am glad is was you, your builds are coming thick and fast now mate, but no reduction in quality, well done again  on an excellent project +1

    I am just asking myself, without the blacksmith perk 2, when will I be able to get my hands on a shredder mod?

    Thought the shredder required gun nut, not blacksmith...

    Either way, I bought my mod from Teagans mod list, it's called 'shredder x' for some reason..bout 300caps

    I play The Technician Build, and now when i finished it i saw this, i am really excited, and in the words of Motty:

    -Holy crap - shredding ghouls and one-hit bashing super mutants!?

    Hey Mason, why do you think missile launchers got shafted? What about the instigating mod? I've also gotten cryo and wounding ones, which while they aren't the best, they add a little.

    Well, I've not tested all of them but I've noticed a few things...

    The problem is that when you connect with a missile there's apparently two separate calculations on the damage dealt. The first is obviously the explosion itself which deals great damage, the second is some minor damage caused when the projectile itself connects with an enemy...

    The problem I've been noticing is that legendary effects only seem to be tied to the minor damage provided by the missile itself, not the explosion.

    For example I landed a Nocturnal Missile Launcher on my last character which I was very pleased about but after noticing it seemed to be lacking power I decided to do some testing. Even if I waited until the dead of night when my launcher was meant to be at its strongest it was only doing a fraction more damage than my regular missile launcher...

    Basically, if you land an instigating missile launcher the legendary effect may only apply to the missile impact so you'll only be doing around 10 more damage or something sad like that...

    Unlike the Fat Man, I don't believe two-shot missile launchers are possible in the game....my conclusion therefore...

    Missile Launchers got Shafted

    ...so be careful when saving money for that Party Starter. Chances are it's actually doing fuck all...

    Here's a thread full of other disgruntled people.

    If two-shot missile launchers are out there, then that's the one you want.

    Now whenever I see that title, I´ll think of that movie with Morgan Freeman, I believe, and a soccer team
