A graduate of C.I.T., Walter White was a promising chemist working for Abraxodyne Chemical. He was contacted to a military research division for his work, granting him a spot in Vault 111. After witnessing his wife's murder and infant boy's kidnapping, Mr. White will take on a new persona in the Boston wasteland. Walter white is...

    Heisenberg

"I am the one who knocks"

    The Build

Character: Male, aged, bald, and with a goatee

    SPECIAL: Strength 2 - Perception 4 - Endurance 4 - Charisma 6 - Intelligence 8 - Agility 2 - Luck 2

Weapons: Heisenberg's Gun (legendary irradiated pistol) Blue Sky (custom Institue pistol), Explosives, Syringer, Lorenzo's Artefact

Armor: Trilby Hat (Ballistic weave), Glasses, Wastelander's and Protector's pieces > Mark 3 Synth

    Companion: Cait

Heisenberg has high intelligence and charisma. He will talk his way out of any situation if he can, but his intelligence prepares him for the worst. Agility and Luck are kept low as we will not be using V.A.T.S.  or sneaking very much.

    Factions:

Minutemen > Railroad (until the ballistic weave mod and access to the Institute) > Institute

    Bobbleheads:

Perception, Speech, Lockpicking, Energy Weapons, Explosives, Science, Intelligence, Strength, Small Guns, Barter, Charisma

    Magazines:

Astoundingly Awesome Tales, Guns and Bullets, Live & Love, Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor, Tesla Science Magazine, Tumblers Today

    Perks (Level 25)

    The Build:

Heisengberg is a pre-planner in combat. He will set down mines near a fallback point, and open combat with the syringer to soften up enemies. If overwhelmed, he uses chems to slow time, throw some well placed explosives, and clean up with any available headshots.

This character is a problem solver. No lock or terminal will get in his way, and he can create the best chems and modifications to suit the situation. This character will make efficient use of stimpacks and chems to slow time, heal, and destroy. Psycho Jet, Grape Mentats, and Bufftats became quick favorites.

His weapon of choice is the institute pistol, custom named Blue Sky. Fans of the Breaking Bad TV series will recognize this as Heisenberg's signature drug, a bright blue crystal meth. After a few kills with this weapon you'll understand why it fits the character.

Keep an eye out for any legendary irradiated pistols, we'll mod this to our liking and it will be our main ballistic weapon. Radiation damage reduces a targets maximum health, so pesky raiders will not be able to heal as effectively. This weapon and Nuka Grenades synergize with the Nuclear Physicist perk.

    Gameplay:

Take an early push into terminal hacking and locks, with crafting being a close second. Fill in gaps with damage boosting perks. Use the SPECIAL book found in your post-apocalypse home for an extra rank in Intelligence, allowing a higher rate of experience. Head to Concord as soon as you can for the Perception bobblehead, allowing us to take Demolition Expert.

Heisenberg will get close to the Minutemen, using this group as a cover to build his chem labs across the wasteland. Collect plants and ingredients as you explore and slowly build your empire. Take Cait as a companion, but do not finish her personal quest. She will become hateful to chem usage and eventually leave if you do.

Being a master manipulator, he'll use the Railroad as a means to an end. Stay with them until Tinker Tom gives you the ballistic weave mod, then abandon them for the Institute. We'll make our signature trilby hat into some badass ballistic headgear as soon as we can.

    Perks (Level 50)

    "Say my name...."

Heisenberg is now a feared name in the Commonwealth. He is working with the best weapons and armor we can create, and he will have found a syringer to spread his chems through the wasteland. Continue to push early into mods, and by now we should be gaining access to the Mass Fusion Building for the Strength bobblehead, just in time to mod our new access to synth armor.

He is a bit more resilient now thanks to Toughness and Nerd Rage!, but stimpacks and a constant supply of chems should leave us without worry. Try to find or craft BioComm Mesh into an armor piece to make chems last even longer, and fully mod Lorenzo's Artefact to synergize with the Nuclear Physicist perk for massive damage against humans.

*Thank you for reading and hopefully playing my first build
