You two can be the soccer mums and I'll be the medic while the other idiots run around getting themselves hurt :P

I've been reading comments on the Nexus and something that keeps coming up is Mod support, as in will this game have them? If it's always online then that makes it less likely although it's still possible. Based on other games I can see two ways they could allow mods, the first being that you can only use them when you're playing alone and the second where everyone that is on the server needing to have the mods installed for it to work. Either way I think they would have to be limited to private servers since there's no way it would work if you dropped into a server with a bunch of mods that other people didn't have

I assume it might be similar to ESO. You know, the plugins and UI changes that don't really do a whole lot to the game itself but make it a little bit better to play the game. Oh and I guess armour and weapon reskins could work too, but basically I think it's possible but nothing major like Ordinator-level modding.

Lastly, I hope they bring back throwables, because I would like to play a sort of tribal survivalist (although that probably won't be "lore friendly"). If they don't, I guess I will be joining Paul at being a soccer mom.

I'm that asshole coach who yells at the 9 year olds trying to have fun and telling them they need to 'Get in the Damn Game'. That's me alright :P Just you know, if we need to all fall into specific soccor related jobs that we can all relate to.

How I love the internet, the cries of "Fallout is dead" and the like are being shouted far and wide despite none of these people having gotten there hands on the game. And while this is happening the few that are suggesting we give the game a chance are being insulted in true internet style. It just wouldn't feel right otherwise.

There's already one confirmed interview with Todd happening at some point soon, so hopefully we get some clarification on what he meant by "you can play solo" and a lots of other things.

    Haters gonna hate

I'm possibly naive but I think Todd saying 'of course, you can play solo, we wouldnt have it any other way' can be taken at face value. Just like ESO can quite readily be played solo. I have sunk over 200 hours into ESO and have NEVER joined a Guild! OK, I have temporarily teamed with another player to take down a particularly difficult boss on occasions - but once that deed has been done, I give my buddy a quick bow, and go off on my own sweet way. And that is a full-on MMO. You simply do not need to play anything other than solo (I even made a series of posts on this site about this).

But, overall, I agree with GF - let's wait until we get our hands on the game (or at least hear more) before we rush to grab the pitchforks

Welll, you all know what I want to do with the game, so just give me a shotgun. :D Love it already, our band of TV players, saying goodbye to the stay at home moms with hugs, armed to the teeth with fancy weapons and power armor. A Scorchbeast lands, the warriors part revealing their secret weapon. A crazy biatch with a shotgun! :D

100% give it a chance. well said.

It's odd you nkow. I watched a few initial raction youtubers...one was like seriously depressed and just kept saying "what is this game? I don't know what this is?"

And then you have a guy like ESO who is stoked and already setting up Discord for his fans to join...etc.

I think a lot of Fallout fans have been interested in a co-op version. This game solves that. It is 4x bigger than FO4...so the universe is growing...not dying. I'm definintely going to give it a chance. For me, a lot will be based on the breadth of character develoment and that there is a lot of "stuff to do in the world. Like, I'm glad to be able to play with you all especially if it's immersive and expansive with plenty to keep us busy.

We'll see. I'm always going to give Bethesda a chance.

Last note on E3 for me was def dissapointed that we got so little of Starfield. But hopefully we'll have plenty of hours to kill in West Virginia :)

Fuck you Goldie, your opinions suck shit...:P

I am actually super hyped for that Todd Howard...is it an interview or a doco? I've read conflicing sources but yeah we should be getting more news within the week (which is excellent) so nobody worry too much until then :P

Yeah pretty much, I think people would've prefered just a straight up "Play Single Player, or invite three of your friends for 4-way co-op". But just something a lot easier to understand and just be straight about. I think the issue is that so much of the game felt contradictory and we'll understand more in the next few weeks.

Agreed DB - I get that.

In the No-Clip bethesda doc, didn't they say they have another doc coming out on just the making of FO76?
