Oblivion Character Build: The Dark Mage

  • June 10, 2017

Back in the day when I heavily played Oblivion I was almost always a typical agile swordsman; I rarely ever used magic. Now that I'm looking to do an Oblivion playthrough this summer, it'll be tough to choose between making my own build or replicating a magic-master playstyle like this one just for the sheer fun it seems to provide. This. Is. AWESOME

Bahahah, thank you very much Mannatee. If you choose to make your own build, I advise glitching Acrobatics - theres nothing quite as fun as leaping around the rooves of buildings only to jump too high, fall, and die. :D

People always say the Last Dragonborn is the most powerful Elder Scrolls Hero. I just laugh and think they haven't seen a Champion of Cyrodiil go insane.

This build reminds me of so many good times I've had in Oblivion, except mine was a thief. 100% chameleon for minutes at a time and super jumping was the most fun I've had in an ES game.

The Champion of Cyrodil would surely overpower the Dragonborn with the power of potato-heads and spazzy glitches"

Thank you very much, Ebonslayer - But did you just leave a positive comment without liking ;D

Yes, I did. Still not used to the like system yet on, well, basically anything. Fixed it.

Man, I love Oblivion. Reminds me of the good ol' days where I didn't know what a scamp was, and when a Conjurer summoned one I was like OMG WHAT IS DAT I WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT

Anyway, great build, good presentation. Also, it's a classics build, so that means I instantly love it because nostalgia.

    +1 mate well done :)

Ahahah, I had a similar reaction to a lightning spell the first time I saw one :D

Thank you for the like and kind words!

I love this build man. I always tried to roleplay and not create OP builds, but this might change my playstyle for a while. And while I don't generaly like playing mages, I might mix this with an archer character.
