Alright, here's a thing I'd love to have an expedition about: polymorhping, or changing one's shape. How does it work from a magical standpoint? And what examples exist in ES lore, both old (TESII in particular) and modern? It can be drastic stuff like species or appearance changes, sure, but any info would be appreciated.

This is a simple question but I'm not entirely sure where else to ask it.

I've noticed several people (and this was true in Morrowind) say that those inflicted with lycanthropy have silver eyes? How does that work with other races though? Say, for example I have a Bosmer werewolf whose eyes are amber colored. Would it work that way or would their eyes still turn silver?

Alright, I got one. Did the Akaviri settle anywhere other than Cyrodill, and is it possible the Men might still live?

Chris, I'm not sure this question can be answered at all. There's only a little info on Akavir and as far as I know, all of it agrees that mankind was destroyed/devoured/dead. Sure, as after all genocides the possibility of survivors exists but with the small amount of info we have it's difficult to say anything about that.

As to the Akaviri conquering other lands, well, as far as we know there's not a whole lot of other lands available to them. Atmora is frozen (in time), Pyandonea belongs to the Moarmer and their immortal king (I doubt they would allow a naval invasion to begin with) and all other larger landmasses have disappeared or sunk. The only option they have as far as we know is a small archipelago between Tamriel and Akavir that was used by the Imperial Navy to launch their invasion of Akavir under the Septims. I haven't heard anything about those isles since the invasion, so there is a chance the Akaviri took them since but it's small and no one thought it was worth mentioning in over 200 years.

Chris I'm afraid that's the best answer I can give you. I hope this is good enough.

Hey Eyeswidemouthshut, we are currently reworking this feature of the lore group a bit and I would like to give you a few options. If you leave your question here, it will take a while to be answered but the answer you will receive will be of a very high quality complete with related sources etc, however, if you want to have an answer a bit faster than that, I would recommend posting your question as a discussion; you'll have your answer faster but chances are people may not post their sources along with it. I believe you're new to the site so if you want to go for the second option I would love to help you.

Okay, here's one some of the lore guys here may find interesting. What do we know about existing Khajiit unarmed martial arts? For instance, where are they trained, what are the techniques or overall idea of each martial art, and what lessons do they teach the student? These are just examples, I'd like as much information as possible.

Can Conjuration be used to summon a weapon that is an extension of the caster's soul? Do atromancers/necromancers control summoned atronachs/undead with their thoughts?

Conjuration is just summoning from Oblivion or resurrection of the dead. The only summoned "weapon that was an extension of the caster's soul" that I know of is the Swordsinger's art of Shehai.

Aside from possible madness in the Shivering Isles, are there any known side effects of someone from Nirn spending a prolonged amount of time in a Daedric Realm, or exposure to Daedric essences?

I'll add this as an expedition if you want but first I recommend you have a look at Karver's article on Seekers: https://tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/1/topic_id/9290

Karver approaches several examples of what he calls "Daedrafication", you will want to read through it for a bit.

Another example of longterm exposure to Oblivion I can think of off the top of my head is Uriel Septim VII who was imprisoned there during the imperial simulacrum. You may want to read up on those events too.

Is there any lore on the process behind modifying a spell?
