There are a few books mentioning Nix-Oxen, they even get used in one of Almalexia's Fables - You're not a real creature until Almalexia has anthropomorphised you, it seems :D But yeah, it does help to see them. Not that they are seen doing much, but sometimes you get lucky an encounter what appear to be two of the flea-things doing something that looks like kissing.

Your idea sounds like a good one, I'd be happy to see it. It could act like a fauna of Morrowind primer :)

There we go, just had to do the search through the Imperial Library...I always forget that UESP (for whatever reason) just does the bare minimum for ESO content or even have completely ignored adding it in for some of the older articles (The Deities seem to suffer a lot from this). I think I'll still write that larger article though, seems like a fun idea :D

Sweet, Deeber, sweet! I feel ESO dropped the ball in that they didn't introduce these creatures and have an NPC write a poem like Evili did with the echatere. Naryu would have been the perfect choice. She's totally into poetry. I imagine it'd be like: Oh, gentle Nix-Ox you are a frightful sight, I'll knit you six delightful socks to keep you warm at night.

If no one sweeps in I might take this comission. That is, if you still haven't found the answer elsewhere, hm?

Hnng, this is tempting! Especially with all the juicy lore from TESII: Daggerfall I happen to know... I'll let you know soon if my power situation allows me to tackle this. UPDATE: Derp, just saw that the Lorc already started on the article. Don't mind me, I'm just a doddering little fool...

I haven't started the article yet. Still waiting for Asher's reply if it's still actual, but if you want to give it a shot, it's your, mate. :)

Nope I have not found the answer, so whoever is interested feel free to pick it up!

Lorewise, does the vanilla intro make sense? Iirc, the pale pass is closed due to avalanches, yet you were caught crossing the border from Cyrodiil and your cart to Helgen is going down that road.

Simple answer. You actually don't come from that way, you're coming from the East road, not the south one. If you keep travelling along the road the carriage took you get to the Rift.

Hey people I have something that might be a theme for an expedition. I was always wondering about the nature of Saints in the elder scrolls. How do they get their Sainthood? Does this sainthood give them different powers and make them different from the rest of the people? What are these people that carried the title of Saint in the ES? Have fun to whoever decides to get this thing going unless the question is simple and can be answered here. :P

Edit, Update on my expedition: I haven't forgotten the expedition I took it's just that I was busy with work and many other things and was also hospitalized for a few days (nothing serious but it was and still is highly irritating until I recover which will take a few days at least). I will have a good amount of free time in my hands during December so it will be finished along with some other things. The question was why Dragonborns are not Immortal even though they have dragon souls. Since the expedition is not active anymore I think I will probably post this one as just a lore article which will delve into what we know about the time gods and their ties with dragonborns.

Alright, since no one seems to be swooping in I'm going to take Asher's question about vampires - sorry for the late reply, Asher - and Duvain's question about Saints. Gonna look into the vamps over the weekend and the Saints probably over the course of next week if it's alright.

Don't know how exactly this works, but I have three question. Question One: Who or what is Sithis? Question Two: What are the Hist? Question Three: What is the connection between Sithis, The Hist, and The Argonians?

Also, if these seem like dumb questions feel free to ignore them.

I'll take the Sithis, Hist and the Argonians. I'll put it together as one article. To better explain Sithis, I'll also show you a bit of Dark Brotherhood lore.

PS What's the sudden interest in TES, Costner?

    Alright, thanks, man.

Honestly, I wanted to give it another shot and I got it for free. I also wanted to know why people love it, so I figured why not play it and see, and then I noticed that The Hist is almost an anagram for The Sith, like form Star Wars, and Tein told some the similarities and such, and from there I kind of became interested. Plus, I can like Star Wars, Star Trek, and Mass Effect where are all kinds of aliens why shouldn't I believe in Elves and stuff, you know.
