What Are Most Elite Warriors For Each Race?

  • November 8, 2016

I was wondering who people think are the best warriors of each race.

    Tsaesci - Dragon Guard.

Cyrodil - Pentius Oculatus? It used to be the Blades but not anymore. However the Oculatus seem more like spies than warriors so maybe the Order of the Hour?

Skyrim - Companions. Back in the day it would have been the Tongues but they don't exist anymore.

Dunmer - It's either the Hands or the Armigers sine they are both the elites of their respective Houses. I'm leaning towards the Hands since their patron was Almalexia who is the Warrior.

Orcs - I'm tempted to say Savage Sons or the Cursed Legion (which may or may not be the same thing) but I'm not sure if they still exist.

Redguards - Again it would have been the Sword Saints but they don't exist anymore. There are many warrior brotherhoods in Hammerfell that all claim to be the best like the Valley of the Blades, Rahni'Za, Leki's Blade, Order of Diagna. So not sure who is actually the best.

Khajiit - I would think it would be the Mane Warrior Guard who are all Cathay-Raht.

Bretons - Who knows. There are so many knightly orders but none of them really seem to stand out.

    Argonians - Shellbacks?

    Bosmer - Vinedusk Rangers?

Altmer - ? Could be the Justicars but they just seem like a rank in the Aldmeri army.

I would say it would a toss up between Nords, Orcs, and Redguards. Mainly because them seem to be the most gifted and natural at being warriors.

My bad, I thought you were asking something complety different.

Cyrodil - The Blades, I know they died off technically, but you do reform them in Skyrim. I think PO is more of a secret Police or even spies

Skyrim - The Companions or The Stromcloaks, I know that seems highly unlikely, but remember the Stormcloaks are fighting for their home and what they believe is to be right which means they have more people willing to fight to the end.

Dunmer - The Hands of Almalexia, hands down.

Orcs - Savage Sons, or the Orc Stronghold Leader

Redguards - Sword Saints, again I know they aren't around anymore, but they seem to be the original group that many Hammerfell warrior clans or brotherhoods are base off of.

Khajiit - Cathay-Raht, they are the Mane's personal guards so they would have to be great.

Bretons - Too many, and no one uses Bretons as a warrior anyway, am I right?

Argonians - Can I put the whole race? They did fight off of the Daedra with no problem and took over southern Morrowind.

Bosmer - I haven't read about many great warriors in Bosmer society.

    Altmer -Does Trinimac count?

I thought about it awhile. I was originally leaning towards the Armigers in the present day since the Hands would (probably) be without their divine fortifications after Mother Crazy's death. But their page says they were chosen from the most skilled warriors in the Tribunal Temple, bearing in mind this is before they get the fancy armor and body/soul enhancements. So yeah, I'm in agreement. The Hands are the best the Dunmer have. The Armigers are still badass though (and more fun to hang out with).

Agreed. I think like most of Dunmer culture the Hands will have just shifted slightly to the left and now call themselves Hands of Boethiah or something.
