Ah thanks Phil, all I try to do is get others talking really . Yeah probably meta, maybe Dunmer or Daedric. I know Sithis isn't a Deadra but I seem to remember another Sithis article being in there. You could just stick it somewhere with the other Velothic Commentaries I did.

This is a second theory I used for Night Mother´s origins, and I stated there it´s the most confusing one, because the distinction between Morag Tong and Dark Brotherhood is very blurry.
But with all this you´re saying here, it really makes sense to me. Old Morag Tong, New Morag Tong, Dark Brotherhood (New-Old Morag Tong)

Yeah it mirrors Dunmer society as a whole that way and thus easier for me to keep it straight in my head.
I had remembered reading Fire and Darkness before and thinking that maybe the writer had just made assumptions and came to the wrong conclusions beacuse the Morag Tong knowing about Sithis makes total sense but worshiping it makes zero. But now with this theory it does make sense.

Also worth noting that in The Anticipations it's stated that Mephala was the one that taught the Chimer to build Houses, this kind of fits with the idea that "Sithis is the start of all Houses".

Like a snake into a hole! Innuendo aside, it seems quite overtly metaphorical of the Psijic Endeavour, no? I mean, there is success and failure/reward and punishment and a duality thing. It seems quite shallow in a way, slightly disappointing.
