Oh shit... how on fucking Satakal's green earth did I miss the solar wind connection?! I even brought it up on souls discussion we had!

I love this, yet Matt will be final arbiter here as I trust his word more than my clumsy Redguard lore flailings. I did an article on Kyne as a goddess of souls so I really like the connections between light, souls and magicka. Riding a solar wind to escape Doomed Yokuda is appealing on so many levels, ties nicely into the Sunbirds of Alinor, the Reman rocket ships and that whole weird TES space travel shit.

It sounds very plausible. I can't think of any holes in it.

What do you guys think of the origin of the name Redguard? As far as I know there are two explanations for it, the first one from Lore:Pocket Guide to the Empire, 1st Edition/Hammerfell

The fierce Ra Gada became, phonetically, the Redguards, a name that has since spread to designate the Tamrielic-Yokudan race in general.

And the second from Lore:Redguards, Their History and Their Heroes

The singers vowed to learn new ways as they traveled across the great ocean to their new land. To adopt a new name, but to honor the past. In honor of their final battle, they named their new land Hammerfell and adopted the name Redguards.

Personally I like the second one much more beacuse the idea that an entire culture would just accept the mispronounced name for one specific group as the name for their entire race is kind of ridiculous. Also these warrior people drenched in blood after their final battle traveling to there new world and naming themselves Redguards is just fucking cool.

So it begins again. Satak was the First Serpent. Satakal eats himself, and the spirits move to the Far Shores to wait for their next skin.

Ruptga became the Tall Papa, and he made the Great Map with the stars in his hand. When Sep tricked the spirits, he put a star in his pocket. This was the Pearl that fell out when Tall Papa squashed Sep with his staff. Sand covered the Pearl. Thus, it came to Zeht, who works the land.

When the Pearl is uncovered, the time of Sep's Hunger will be over. Water from the Pearl will run over the skins, and the Hungry Stomach will at last be full.

Know this: the Pearl is the Way and the Guide. It is the light to the Far Shores and back again, as they are placed by Tall Papa's hand.

The only real world is Satakal. You cannot eat the stars.

One Sound will open the Way, and One Sound will close it. This is the sound of the worlds, calling to something to save them. What answers the call is the Hunger.

So it begins again. Satak was the First Serpent...

This is a story Hayazzin tells you when you speak to him in the Alik'r in ESO. What do you guys think bout it?

Ok if the theory is that Tava has more of a connection to Meridia than Leki, how about Leki being Mnemoli? Is there a connection to be found between Leki's sideways walking and Mnemoli's Untime?

Also theory: What if the 27 Snake-Folk Slaughter isn't the Sinismer but the Akaviri?
