I'm on the fence about it

I think it's really cool. It's interesting on a philosophical and metaphysical level and it's just a cool backstory to the lore.

Someone said something about a painted cow? I don't know what the hell  that's all about and I'm slightly afraid to ask....

(I presume the Kirkbride discussion is moving over here too)

Yeah it's from that quote about how much Kirkbride's work had on the setting of the game (he wrote the entire Last Dragonborn Prophecy) I think the painted cow is just a reference to how the Nords sacrifice painted cows to the giants in the game.

Don't know the story behind it. I just know Kirkbride wrote about a painted cow and Kurt Kuhlmann included a painted cow in Skyrim (and we know it isn't a coincidence).

CHIM ain't real. It's all a lie. Vivec and friends are liars and murders. Can't trust them.

    Thanks. Where's the painted cow?

Random encounter. I've seen it accompanied by a giant on the path between Riverwood and Whiterun.

Who ever thought of this is trying WAY too hard, or not trying at all.
