Well, he did ask about those who "aren't pompous nutjobs

And UESP first note contradicts their article

I've always found it weird there are so many omissions in the marriage list. Did the two Khajiit voice actors just refuse to read the lines, or something? It can't be the bestiality undertones, because there ARE marryable Argonians.

Does Taarie retain her special inventory when you mary her or does she behave like any other general merchant?

It's not Beastiality, it's Xenophilia. They aren't mindless animals, it's like a human banging a Tweilek, or a Silurian, banging another, sentient and sapient, species.

They look like cats. I'm not saying it's the same, just that it could be one reason you can't marry them.

Fantastic decision to turn all of your research into a lore article!    Extremely well-written, Vazgen, and I appreciate all of your citations, just so I can read up about this newly introduced faction from ESO.

I wonder if the Spinner's ability is connected to the life force/magicka in the Valenwood forests, and if they would lose that ability if they left...kind of like how the Argonians lose their connection to the Hist the further they are from them.  I do not have an answer myself, just wondering.

Thank you so much for posting it, and giving me more information to process in this ever evolving game!

Thanks Kyn! Rune brought a few other interesting books in the comment section. If you want more, search for "lore lexicon Bosmer" in google - there's a ton of ESO lore there, with sources :)
I think their power comes from Y'ffre herself and thus will be present even if they venture away from Valenwood. But it will be the strongest in the Valnwood where Y'ffre's influence is the strongest.

So, would a Bosmer doing a quest of Kynareth odd? Or would the Spinner believe she is merely an aspect of Jephre?

So, Spinners are guardians of nature, or something of the sort, and priests of Jephre. So, would they side with the Rieklings, or the Nords?

Second version is more likely. You will have to RP around hitting roots with a foul magic - a Spinner would never do it. In fact, Nettlebane is one of the artifacts he/she would prefer to hide away from the world
