Scavengers looks fascinating, really the only game so far that's hooked me in any way.

I have only 1 question, what is it?

@Golden - Yeah that 's true it's just that when I think of post apocalyptic games I prefer them to have a darker vibe this looks like a borderlands type of setting or something like that.

True, it seems like a mix of...everything? No fucking clue, but it looks good :P

My bet is Red Dead Redemption wins Best Score...

EDIT: Oh wow...look I don't want to seem like I'm saying the game isn't good (no idea), but I really feel like it might be winning awards more based on the fact that the hype is still alive. I mean, I'll be interested in seeing if there's a way to check the votes (to see how close other games are to winning) but I just feel like, I don't know there are games that do some things better but RDR is winning it anyway because the game's fresh in people's minds.

I could be wrong, the game could be that epic, but I think hype is winning categories for RDR2.

Probably something like Division or Fortnite/PUBG but with survival mechanics like hunger and such.

I'm still waiting for the joke that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to win a category that it hasn't even been nominated for.

Sure the cgi trailer looks nice.

@Duvain, fair but isn't the darkness of a setting more in the characters and writing then where they're standing?

Fair, fair, still doesn't mean that I'm not impressed with it so far. I'll keep looking for more information, it's just grabbed my attention faster than most of the other games.

@Golden - Yeah it is it's just my thing the darker colors and vibe in games with this type of settings but a game with vibrant colors it can certainly deliver the aspect of a post apocalyptic world through the writing.

It really did feel like a big "Fuck You" to Bethesda in a lot of ways..

A WELL DESERVED ONE. Freaking Bethesda...

The art style of the characters looks A LOT like when you got into a dialogue with a main character back in Fallout 1 and 2. Especially that old guy in the beginning.

Yeah I want more info on Outer Worlds, but it looks pretty fucking awesome. Elements of New Vegas, Cyberpunk, Wild West and some other great genres and games. Adding to my “watch” list for 2019 for sure!

By the way, Bethesda better watch itself. If they screw up Starfield, they risk being one-upped by Obsidian not one, but two times in two franchises (post-apocalyptic and sci-fi). Hopefully this puts a lot of pressure over at Bethesda, though Obsidian isn't known for releasing bug-free games either, but it does consistently release A+ RPGs.

And what's this? Actual dialogue in an RPG? Skill-checks??

NO! Make the skill checks hidden damn you. But fine, I'll live with it if it means proper dialogue for the first time in ages.
