  Well, I live in Romania. For us is simple - we revert back to our true form, vampire I mean and keep up ignoring the rest of the world!

  Well A. She's Russian, at least on one side of her family, the other side is mostly the rest of Europe. and B. How is Romania?

  Vampires in Russia? No, they only have werewolves there. Romania is .... rural. That's the only way to keep pesky strangers asking about Dracula. I mean, he's pretty much sophisticated, not someone who will live in a cottage, drinking milk and homemade cookies!  So, tourists have to understand fast that there are no vampires in Romania. Nowhere.

  Well, I live in a block of flats and should it come down to an actual A-bomb falling I'd grab all the dry goods from my cupboards, four pairs of underpants, bar of soap, toothpaste and tooth brush and hide in the basement along with the rats, probably have to stay there for a good few days take a hot plate and some bottled water too, not to mention sleeping bag and camp mattress
