I guess Catmer and manmer count but what spot are Falmer to you

Catmer is just a joke name I came up with.

I don't really have a strong opinion on the Falmer either way,but they'd probably be ahead of the other ones I didn't rank.

and very nice name Catmer I think I'll use it for my next build if that's ok

Oh, sure! Like I said before: it was supposed to be a joke.

Felimer would probably be better as a serious Elven name for the Khajiit: Feline + Mer.

Ya but this build is a "first of his type of race" type build

I'm stuck between Bosmer and orsimer. They're both tribal, and I always like the tribal, primitive underdogs in video games.

As far as I know there wasn't any evidence for the Thalmor's goal to unmake the world. Is there?

Well if we are not taking Michael Kirkbride's Posts as gospel The Altmer all want to return to Aetherius, anything other than unmaking mundus doesn't make sense.

Im a huge fan of orcs!

  • September 28, 2015 6:57 PM EDT

Oh, okay. I didn't know they actually had an in-lore Merish name.

Thanks for (again) correcting my lore mistakes!

It is hard to choose between the Falmer and Ayleid has they share the similarity of passing land over to the humans.

    Alrighty, serious answer time.

    1. Bosmer

Carnivorus elves who say fuck you to woodland elf sterotypes and who can turn themselves into beasts to unleash hell upon their enemies? Yes please.

    2. Orsinmer

A close-second place to the elves who are not much like elves and are the best smiths in Tamriel

    3. Dunmer

    "You n'wah!"

    4. Maormer

After seeing these guys in ESO, I wish we saw them in Skyrim. So different from our current elf roster and very cool-looking.

    5. Altmer (and Ancient Aldmer)

Starting to get into the tied-range here because I do find the Altmeri culture and Thalmor fascinating.

    6. Dwemer

    Science. That is all

    7. Ayelids

Super interesting culture, shame I don't know very much about them

    8. Chimer

One of my least-favourite, nothing more then typical Fantasy elves.

    9. Left-Handed Elves

Extinct but interesting enough due to theior influence on Redguard culture.

    10. Falmer

Last on my list merely because their near-extinction and their current state is quite sad, similar to the LH Elves above. I do like them but I cannot see anyway they will be able to become sentient once more

Chimer are nothing like normal fantasy elves

They are an ancient semitic style culture that thought suffering was divine and worshiped gods that most would consider to be devils. I don't see that as generic elf really.
