Please tell me what race is the most similar to native Americans

  • July 19, 2015 10:04 AM EDT
Look it up. Search "did natives take slaves" and you'll find out they do in fact take slaves of war.
  • July 19, 2015 10:18 AM EDT

    Yes. I know that.

I wish I could play morrowind, but I don't think it's coming out for ps3. But Ashlanders, while having aspects of Native Americans, has 3 or 4 other cultures thrown into the mix. So while having interesting culture, we cant pin them down.

But it was for war, not like Europeans taking slaves just because they could.

I would add that a social construct is still a natural construct.

That being said, I agree with Shor. The Forsworn are dicks. I don't care if their land was taken, that doesn't justify attacking random travelers.

The Forsworn. But a tribal Reachmen isn't really like the Forsworn. Reachmen actually ruled peacefully, ulfric came along, killed them all, then a terrorist group of Reachmen came to be, called the Forsworn. Reachmen are a peaceful people that live in Tribes, while Forsworn are terrorists. See the difference?

So what are you even discussing anymore?

I think you guys are taking it too far already. Remember rule 7!

I thought you wanted a preferred race to play as. Like I said, just go with Redguard.

You got that out of the Bear of Markarth. You gonna burn some books while you're at it, Propagandist?

  • July 19, 2015 10:49 AM EDT
Why are you trying to cause crap??!! I'm just establishing some stuff and your trying to be a complete jerk about it.
  • July 19, 2015 10:52 AM EDT

You can't trust that book. It's pure propaganda.

  • July 19, 2015 10:53 AM EDT
Your trying to act like every single thing I say is wrong, and throw a little temper tantrum when I actually make a point
  • July 19, 2015 10:57 AM EDT

    Oh boy, here we go.

I'm not mad at anything. BUT, you are wrong.

Forsworn or Reachmen, Skyrim belongs to the Nords. They took it by force, and they will sustain that hold by force. Imperial Skyrim or Stormcloak Skyrim, neither would allow the Reach to be independent.

Ok. So its propaganda? I didn't know. But what set me off was the propagandist remark. So Forsworn aren't Native Americans, they're tribal cultists. Now that that's been established, lets move away from Forsworn.

Take a step back and think for a bit. They're the most similar thing we are gonna get to the Indians
  • July 19, 2015 11:10 AM EDT
Maybe argonains. But I'm just not sure if argonians and man or mer can have children. Like a Nord argonian hybrid.

Please stop using the word Indian. There ain't no fucking turbans on our heads.

  • July 19, 2015 11:16 AM EDT
I was going to mention that, but I didn't want to start crap. But I agree, everyone should stop saying Indian, because Indians are in Asia, and they are EXTREMELY different from Native Americans.
  • July 19, 2015 11:16 AM EDT

    Haters gonna hate.

  • July 19, 2015 11:18 AM EDT
It may not offend you, but it can be as offensive as calling an African American a negro.

That's the dumbest thing I've heard all morning, and it's just the beginning of the day.

I'm signing off now. This is ludicrous!

Next time, just say Indigenous Americans/Canadians, instead of Native American, or Indian.

And just use a Redguard! Fuck there is a build on the site somewhere that is based around Connor. Just look that up, and be on with it.

How do you think Europeans got them?
  • July 19, 2015 11:23 AM EDT

But that's their broad ethnic group's name...
  • July 19, 2015 11:27 AM EDT
Broad ethnic groups? I don't get it.
  • July 19, 2015 11:29 AM EDT
    It's basic Anthropology.
