  My favourite would probably be a ranger, or scout, which I see as a hybrid between stealth and combat. My Oblivion/Skyrim character, Vara-Sei, is a perfect example. He uses stealth to initiate combat, usually with a bow, and as soon as he is spotted he pulls out a sword and shield. Using light armour, he has to be quick, and move in and out of combat to dodge attacks. When one room is cleared, he sneaks into a vantage point into the next room to get the jump on the enemy. It's sort of a guerrilla playstyle, but I've always liked the combo.

  I have a character like that in my play queue! It's fun to ambush one enemy and then move into sword and board (or axe and torch). :D
