The first game you ever purchased

    The first game you ever purchased; likely the first major purchase of your childhood.  The game that, now, looking back, is probably a janky, clunky mess, but still holds a special place in your heart.  

    My first game purchase was Infected, for the PSP 1000 which I purchased the same day.  

    I saw the cover and was sold.  A zombie game rated M?  Hell yeah!  (Heck yeah, because I was with my Father and such language from a child would have been met with some sort of discipline).  

    So what was the first game you purchased with your own money?

    Wait, the first game you bought was for the PSP? At a glance I thought that was PS1. Now I feel old.

    I bought Q-bert when I was around eight. My grandma didn't want me to spend the money, I think it was around $30. She only relented when I promised to open a savings account with an equal amount of money. I couldn't figure out how to play the game when I got it home so I took it back and got Pac-Man.

    Goodness, with my own money. Probably my games on Steam, I made an account during the sale after getting $100 steam credit for my Birthday. I couldn't tell you the first but Morrowind, Oblivion and Dragon Age:Origins were on those lists for sure.

    Ha, you feeling old is just an unfortunate byproduct of this post.  

    I loved my PSP.  I have so much history on that thing.  It's too bad any portable Playstation device is completely outclassed by Nintendo and therefore irrelevant in the mobile gaming industry.

    Nox, sweet lil RPG. Good story. Probably wouldnt play it again because of the graphics but hey, it was good and fun when I played it.

    Hmm... It was either Age of Mythology or Tomb Raider 3.

    Being totally honest I can't really remember. It might have been Borderlands 2, but I doubt that. Maybe it was Pokemon Conquest.

    The first game I bought was Jak and Daxter 2, I loved that game so much, ah memories, good times

    I'm not sure about with my own money, but my first actual video game that I remember was a Spongebob Plug-n'-Play system. That was the only thing I played for a long time.
