Skyrim's civil war and TES VI

Who will be the victor of the civil war in TES VI. Will history say that the Empire won? Or perhaps the Aldmeri Dominion took control from the Stormcloaks/Empire and ruled. How long did the winning faction stay in control of Skyrim? Is that faction still around and perhaps fighting for control again, or did the civil war never end?

All speculation but I think that Ulfric will die. Not necessarily at the player's hands but he will die. The Empire will win, I'm sure

I hope that the Aldmeri would steal the power away from the Empire. It would cause so much political unrest that the rest of Tamriel might be forced into war that was similar to the Alliance War. But you are probably right.

Regarding TES VI, I'd rather they just skip a few decades to a new time and a new conflict (probably involving the Dominion, and their civil unrest.

While that is most likely, there is bound to be a history book, or a song telling of the aftermath of the civil war. Maybe even a veteran (assuming Bethesda doesn't decide to skip another 200 years).

I don't think the Dominion are that powerful. more fear then anything else.

They could force slaves to fight for them

If the idea that TES is the reverse of LotRn is true, then I don't think it matters. Empire's weak either way.

I don't care when who wins I just want it in High Rock, with like a large map with tons of different kingdoms, and the ability to ally to various ones (maybe even have your own kingdom eventually and all those politics?).

I'm with Zach on this. We can speculate all we want, but it doesn't make a lick of difference because we'll have no real say in the outcome.

So let's just wait and see....    .____.

The Altmer have always had goblin slaves within Summerset Isles. It is reasonable to assume they have expanded that further now that the Dominion has be re-formed. In addition, some portions of Khajiit society seem to be held in a slave-like scenario.

LotR describes the fading of the elves and the dominion of man. TES is rumored to be the story of the fading of men and the dominion of elves.

...I'd never heard that, but that's a really interesting idea.

I'm not sure what to make of that, but it's good to know.

I like to think they're watching places like this for ideas, and what's popular with the fans.
