    Hello all, Emer here!

As I get more and more into PC Gaming, I have been wondering what hardware you all use! Feel free to post pictures, links to products (Please only link products that you are using or planning to use!), or simple lists!

    Here is my current setup:

I would love to hear or see what you use! Once I have my setup fully installed (and once my gaming room is finished), I will post a few images for you all. So let's have it! What do you use?

I just don't like playing on pc, CIV is the only thing that just doesn't work on a console, no matter how you see it.

Asus laptop with a full keyboard (including a num pad) and a 17.5 inch (44.5 cm) monitor (yes, my laptop is large).

    Quad core @ 1.6 GHz 1.6GHz

    6.0 GB Ram

It has sweet gaming graphics and high performance everywhere except for its disk data transfer rate, which is just above average.

I run Skyrim at highest settings plus some 'enhancement' mods.

I use a wireless Microsoft mouse (yes, I need a mouse upgrade), and a wireless Logitech headset (quite pleasant).

(My computer is nearly 3 years old now - but it was near the top of the food chain back in its 'heyday'.)

In the process of building myself a new one right now.  All the parts are ordered, just waiting for them to finish coming in.

Cooler Master Storm Trooper Case (black)

    MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard

Intel Core i7-4770k being cooled by Corsair H100i

    Nvidia GTX 780 by Gigabyte

    2x8GB Memory

    250GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD

1TB Western Digital HDD (for storage)

Thats all the important parts.  I did order 2 new 27" Monitors and a Cooler Master Storm Series keyboard and Mouse set. Hoping to get everything delivered by Friday so I can get it built after work and start all the installations and be back to playing by Saturday.

    AMD Phenom II x4 955 (20% oc)

    AMD Radeon 7800 2GB DDR5 (factory oc)

    10 GB DDR3 RAM (oc'd)

    Sony SDM-P234 1920x1200 monitor

    Mid-quality 2.1 speaker setup

Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 5000 w/Mouse

1 TB storage, across three platter drives.

    ------

Nothing super special, in other words, but at the resolution I play at (1920x1200) I can run most things on full settings without lag.

Dell XPS 8700 English Desktop, i7-4770

It includes a rather weak Graphics card compared with the rest of the system, but it can pretty much run anything on the highest settings with 60 fps.

Jesus, man, how much did you drop on that? I'm guessing close to $2,000 (not counting tax)? You're gonna have a lot of fun with a rig like that.

I'm building a PC now as well, but my budget's a bit more modest...

    • CPU: Intel core i5-3470 + stock cooler
    • GPU: MSI GTX 760 with 2GB of VRAM
    • Motherboard: ASRock B75M-DGS
    • Memory: 2x4GB DDR3 (G.Skill Ripjaws X Series)
    • Storage: 2TB Western Digital HDD (Caviar Green, from an external drive I had lying around)
    • PSU: Corsair CX 500W
    • Case: Corsair 200R

All told, the components ran me around $650-700 before tax. Also gonna get a 24" Acer monitor, Logitech G400s mouse, and CM QFR mechanical keyboard. So after those peripherals, the OS itself, and tax, I'm looking at around $1000.

For sound, I've got a pretty decent set of speakers already (as far as 2channel speakers go) and a set of Audio-Technica A700 headphones.

All together, it's nothing fancy, but it shouldn't have any trouble running modded Skyrim on upper display settings. Which is about the most intensive activity I plan on using it for. Will probably add a SSD in a couple of months, once my wallet recovers a bit.

Not only Skyrim, but I imagine you'll be able to run games for quite a while with it. Newer games might not go on highest (if they are crazy like Crysis) but you should have pretty decent settings all available to you!

I have a laptop that can just about run facebook!

    Kneel before my fury.

I concur this motion, the one I was looking at was around 3k (Including sertting up a gaming room, redec etc) but alas, bigger fish have appeared.
