Real life gaming simulator?

What if there were a gaming simulator. A gaming simulator that put you in a sleeping like state (almost like inception) and if you put a disc in the game simulator ( like a console) and it put you in the world of that game where you could feel and perceive and do things as if you were in real life. There could be scary genres, funny and action ones. In settings you could turn on pain or keep it on. Or change brightness and sound. I'm sure every gaming fan has thought if this but what if...

If you could create a real life gaming simulator, what would it be called, what would it look like and what game would you make for it.

Thanks for reading, be sure to comment below and as always

    Bye bye

Already did this in Fallout... And Assassin's Creed. lulz jk but seriously

I don't care what it's called or what it would look like (see fallout and AC for references), but I would like a military combat simulator (realistic cross between Call of Duty and Arma 2) that had to be used by anyone who wanted to vote yes on going to war... If we could vote on that. Heh.

Yeah, it's called LIFE and you and everyone else that's living and breathing is playing it. If you want the next best thing try the Oculus Rift and prepare to blow your mind.

In fallout3 there is a real life gaming simulator. That's what he's talking about.

Additionally, read "otherland" by tad Williams.

Fallout 3 is a good example of what I would have done. And I was kinda making a joke about how peopel who want to wage war should have to experience it ya know... Kind of a joke.

I know one of the devs of the Age of Aincrad game, Soneca. If you haven't heard about it you may want to check it out. It's supposed to be Sword Art online with the Oculus Rift. I haven't really looked into it.
