Not Winterhold, but definitely somewhere in Skyrim.

Went from a "high" at midnight today of 50F, down to 15F right now.  Earlier this morning, we had some snow flurries, which is pretty serious for Georgia.  When I went for a walk this morning, it definitely felt like Skyrim weather.

Super serious for Georgia. It sucks because we never get the cold and the moister at the same time in Georgia. IT SUCKS

In the Netherlands we actually had pretty decent weather lately. It's always like that, when everyone else has nice weather, the weather is horrible here. But when everyone else gets crappy weather, suddenly we're reminded the sun exists.

D: Yes.  We're definitely not used to it here.  Our winter is so much milder than this.

we don't have winter. We have an extended fall, then straight to spring. Mostly, the seasons cant make up their minds. One day it's 33, and the next day it's 75. Idk what my ancestors were thinking coming here.

Well here in Georgia, USA, it's not quite that cold, but like Shor and Kyrielle said, it's serious/rare. But on the bright side, no school tomorrow due to cold which partially make up for the seemingly hundred times this winter where we've had below 32F weather but no moisture for ice/snow. It even flurried..

    Global Warming these days...

  • January 6, 2014 9:30 PM EST

I believe the technical term for that is "cold as the dickens".

Yep, that's totally why I went for a walk eventhough it was so damn cold.  I looked out the window, saw the snow, and was like "Time to go play!"  In my not-very-warm clothing, of course.

I wish now that I had taken advantage of the flurries by taking a walk like you.

I just got back walking from work in the dead of midnight. -13F, plus wind chill.

I think I've gained a new appreciation for all of the crap the dovakiin manages to do in subzero weather.

i've lost whatever Yankee street cred I once had - used to shovel three feet of snow on a regular basis growing up in New York.  Now living in Austin TX, it's 25 degrees Farenheit and I'm freezing my buns off.

It's -9 here, supposed to get down to about -12 I think. I will not be leaving the house tomorrow if I can help it, I lived most of my life in Atlanta, GA....still not used to the winters here in PA even after 7 years. Of course this is even worse than usual.
