Only goes to 1px in my version of PS...

I don't know if this will work Zim but...

Try duplicating your text layer and then rasterize it...

Place the new text layer behind your old one and then play around with the blur so that the pixels bleed into the banner a little more...

I done this real quick, I agree the white color looks crappy, but it was pretty quick. I can do better, but just wanted to show you the basic idea, and for everyone else.

    0.5 didn't seem to do much.  Here's 0.7.

Agreed, it's less apparent on the map version but still visible. And it is the best blur value I think. The value of 1 made it look too smooth

Yeah, it's still a bit blocky...  Using GIMP, so I don't quite have all the same options as you Photoshop guys.  Let me try something...

Here's another, I just mashed two images together in Photoshop real quick over rune background w/ the blood effect.

The original troll image is actually pretty noisy if you look close...

    Selective color--->Blacks+20%

    It crisps up really nice...

@Mason - it looks fine on the banner though  The original image's resolution is 1920x1080. Here

I think it's too dark mate (in terms of content, not lighting)  Blood, Imperial sign... It's not a Molag Bal worshipers' site after all

What about this? I got a quick sketch off the internet of a dragon, and edited it in Photoshop quite a bit, what d'ya think?

Just came back to say, current title on the banner is perfect, keep it like that.

There's no reason why we can't improve upon it. Settling for first best is silly. I agree, it's amazing and all, but y'know, we might find something that's even better.

Thanks for the hard work Mason and Vaz. It's a shame more people didn't get involved really....

I still don't like it.  The "The" looks out-of-place, and the letters still aren't thick enough.  I'm going to keep playing with the fonts.  See if I can beat GIMP into doing what I want it to.  My son woke up though, so I won't get back to it for a few more hours.

I'd just like to point out that this has happened on every site re-vamp we have ever had...

We find one theme quickly, it looks ok, and suddenly we stick with it like glue...

Guys, it's seriously easy to change the theme. Keep throwing ideas forward!

So far I honestly think this has happened too fast, we've only scratched the surface of things that could be put up...

It doesn't have to be a done deal 24 hours after the revamp gets posted...
