Which armor set would you think most resembles the sorely missed medium armor? Heavy or Light?

I don't really think there is a good comparison in Skyrim, but if I had to choose I'd say one of the less-bulky heavy armors like the Blades Armor + the Conditioning perk (or Steed Stone) for better maneuverability.

I'd vote for Dawnguard grey light armor (one that Celann wears) and Stalhrim heavy armor (with light armor helm).

That Dawnguard grey light armor is my favorite armor in the game! That + Linwe's hood is the perfect combo for me

I've always gone with the dawnquard armor, chitin armor, bonemould, scaled, dragonscale as medium armors

Bonemold actually was medium armor in morrowind, so that's what comes to mind for me.

Ebony Mail looks like medium to me. Looks pretty heavy but also decently slim and not very bulky.

Not answering the question, but when you join the Imperials in the Civil War you can get yourself a set of free Imperial armor. You can choose from Heavy, Medium, or Light. I was pretty hyped for picking medium but after I choose it I was given a mix of heavy and light.

The guard armors that have the scale texture as opposed to padded (Whiterun vs Morthal, for example).
