When I haven't played a game in so long and play it again, I fall in love with it again :)

I still play one  my all time favourite games on the PS1, Pandemonium, graphics mean nothing and if I'm honest I haven't played Skyrim in about 2 months ( a proper gaming session with it) and now I can't even be arsed to get past helgen before I go on to BL2

True, though some games age more gracefully than others.  Games like Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker have aged rather nicely and playing those games again doesn't feel too different or "worse".  The only complaint I have is the problem with PS2 graphics being a bit blurry and making me feel like I need to clean my glasses.  But that's a matter of being more used to higher definition images rather than bad design.

Guys not to sound like I'm just a ad as a blogger but...

Skywind/morroblivion is what would make it more interesting to revisit morrowind. For those who don't know about either of these it is a mixture of skyrim and morrowind (skywind) and Oblivion and morrowind (morroblivion). Only morroblivion is out, out of the alpha stage and now in the beta stage. You can play morrowind in the oblivion graphics and fighting. Skywind on the other hand is in the alpha stage but is still moving along. Skywind combines the game engine of skyrim with the map of morrowind.

If this interests you then you can help and this awesome challendge may be done by next year!

You don't need any modding experience but good modders are welcome. People with no modding experience can help by making faces for npcs and people with modding experience you can help with npc animation and other creature design/movement. If modding isn't what you like then if you have a good voice (ANY WILL DO!) then you can help with voice acting, there are over 13,000 lines still needed to do!

If you are still interested then go to Morroblivion.com and help out  (please they really need it)

I like Oblivion way better than Skyrim, player has more possibilities. DB isn't shit like it is on Skyrim it's more related to Sithis/Nightmother than Astrid and Cicero -.-  Oblivion has way moooore spells and items, you can make better potions, make your own spells, summon more atronachs ese ese...
Characters may look like 70 year old pornstars but I still love Oblivion and always will. Oblivion was more 'Elder Scrollish' than Skyrim in my opinion.
    So, yes I'd want it.

I can say with all sincerity that it took me two years from when I started playing Oblivion to complete the dark Brotherhood questline and even after I still couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about.

Skyrim's been out over a year and among the ten or so achievements I have yet to unlock their are  DB and Thieves Guild ones. I just can't get into sneak builds.

Which reminds me, When I start playing Morrowind soon, what sort of character has the greatest chance of survivability? I hear those Cliff Racers are tough.

I would be open to an Oblivion one as the classes and such are better and has more skills etc.

Wouldn't be a bad idea, but not many would join.

I like this idea, if only because there were so many choices and roleplaying opportunities in both games. Taking some time to revisit the history of the series and getting to know the world better isn't a bad idea at all.

In my case it would be discovering the history and learning the world for the first time. Some sort of Skyrim Blog guide to Morrowind and it's People would be cool.

Has there ever been a fan made Pocket Guide to the Empire? I bet it'd be more factually correct than the original.

Character builds should be easy enough as they needen't necessarily be as involved or as complicated as the Skyrim builds.
