Galas' Adventures in Archfal: Chapter 4

  Galas walked down from his room in the Commune, and saw Atharil sitting face down at the bar, a bottle of wine infront of him. J'kiir was sitting in the corner, playing a game of cards by himself.

  "What's wrong?" asked Galas, looking at Atharil "Where is everyone?"

  J'kiir chuckled, and carried on playing his card game. "Shut it, Khajiit. What's wrong, Atharil?" he asked again. Atharil only grunted, and continued lying on the bar. Galas put his hand on his sword, and asked again "Where is everyone!?"

  "What?" said Atharil, trying to lift his head "Why are getting angry with me? The Khajiit started everything."

  "If you are referring to last nights incident, Khajiit had nothing to do with it." replied J'kiir.

  "What?" asked Galas "What happened? Tell me now!"

  "That cat started a fight that got Nelyos and Jenyar sentenced to prison." replied Atharil

  "Where...where's Birli?" asked Galas, looking at Birli's empty chair.

  "Khajiit warned him not to get involved." replied J'kiir, continuing his card game.

  "What!?" yelled Galas "What did you do!? You...you bastard!"

  J'kiir ignored Galas, who then threw all of J'kiir's cards off the table, and then stabbed it with his dagger "Tell me now, or I'll cut off your tail bit by bit!" said Galas.

  "Khajiit thinks that this was very rude, yes." said J'kiir, picking up his cards.

  You know what else is rude?" asked Atharil "Killing a man, then framing two of his friends!" Atharil then got up and picked up his staff.

  Ulfberht, a Nord man who never seems to speak, walked in at that point, and saw the scene unfold before his eyes. Galas drew his sword, and said "Tell me now, cat, or by Azura you will die this day!"

  Atharil walked over with his staff, and stood next to Galas. Ulfberht jumped inbetween the three, and showed them a page in his sketch book. The page said "Did anyone who isn't biased see him kill anyone?"

  Rumour's good enough to me." said Galas "Now, get out of the way!"

  J'kiir managed to escape in the chaos, and Atharil ran out behind him, followed be Galas. They followed J'kiir into Upper Archfall, where they lost sight of him. "Folow me!" yelled Galas, heading to the Sewers of Lower Archfall.

  "There's a bar down here where the Khajiit like to hang out, J'kiir should be in there!" shouted Galas.

  They got to the Rusty Mule tavern, but saw no sight of J'kiir. "Damn, Galas." said Atharil "I doubt we'll find him now. If the guards find out we'll probably be arrested for assualt. What should we do?" asked Atharil.

  "Relax, Atharil. I sent a letter to the Commona Tong, Morrowind's Thieves' Guild, the first time I had a run in with a Khajiit. I own them, so they should come."

  "Commona Tong? I don't ike the sounds of getting involved with that kind. Can't we just surrender ourselves to the guard?" asked Atharil.

  "Fine. I'm right behind you, friend." The two of them left the Sewers, and turned themselves in to one of the guards. They were each sentenced to one day imprisonment for assualt, leaving a bitter hatred for Khajiit with Galas.
