Life in the land of The Skyrim Blog

  • I'll start off by saying why I wrote this... I was REALLY bored. Enjoy. In the land of The Skyrim Blog the border was always open for those who wished to enter so long as they swore to maintain the peace. There were many guilds people could join, some more exclusive than others. Or they could go to the tavern and discuss with the rest of the population. Or go to the Bards House and read the latest stories they had written. Or maybe even post information on the city's billboard. However there was trouble in the land of The Skyrim Blog. Trolls had infiltrated themselves into the populace and were causing havoc. It wasn't the first time, for once a horrendous Fox attacked the land. However he was stopped. From his mighty throne the great Paul spoke: "Begone foul monster. We have no desire to allow you into our land ever again." And so the trolls were banished and peace was restored. People rejoiced throughout the land and explained to their fellow citizens the events that had come to pass during the night. Several members fled that following day, possibly having ties to the creatures, whilst others were banished for being in league with the trolls. Guards were sent to patrol the borders and only accept those who had the magnificent Paul's permission. During that same week Lord Ponty, Ben The Kind and Mason inspected the buildings that had been made by the builders guild, destroying those that weren't safe. They called it The Great Purge and didn't leave a building unchecked, no matter how famous it had become. However whilst the mighty Paul's realm lost many citizens it also gained some and reached four thousand. The celebrated as banquets were held in the castle. Many citizens visited the theatre to watch the play of the week by Ashi. Some went to the Bards House and read the funny tale of a paladin by Lord Ponty. Slowly the population came to accept what had happened and life in The Skyrim Blog went back to normal.
