Fe-angua Falcaex (My Promise) - A Poem in Altmeris, featured in

  •

    My Promise

I sing to you whispers of forbidden joys,

As we stand at the edge of a cliff

Next to a wondrous little glade.

You see great trees rain pink blossoms

And blossoms of yellow rare over the earth.

You see tiny forms dance against the wind,

    Shining in the Sunlight.

You see Auri-El’s treasures. Divine Beauty.

But I see only you, only you

    Beloved Ebonnayne, of the fire-eyes.

You live in the depths of heart and mind

You rescued me from the deep abyss.

I sing to you of the storm eternal, the future.

Obscure as a mountain mist, but not to me.

    For touched by Fate,

    I, wanderer-Knight, will wander the frozen lands;

I will follow the jewel-star sky to find you.

And one day, I swear, beloved Ebonnayne.

    Eyes will find eyes

    Hands will touch hands.

    And Mouth will taste mouth.

Summer Sun and Winter Moon will be as One

And raised by Love’s flame, beloved Ebonnayne,

    We will touch the Sky.

It will be awesome any way you do it, I'm sure. After all this time it's clear to me, that you just can't do things in any way but totally awesome))))) Baritone or not))

It is my intention. The pronunciation guide in the Imperial Library is a hot mess. Oh, they mean well, don't misunderstand me, but they don't address the myriad of vowel combinations. I think they're basing the pronunciation off Umaril the Unfeathered in ...  more

Alright, was proactive and printed out the lyrics to this poem, reviewed Altmeri stress and pronunciation (infusing it with a bit of Falmeris to give that authentic Southern accent), and then I printed four sheets of staff paper, labeled a key signature, ...  more

There's no limit to awesomeness you can create, is there?))) I don't know anything about Altmeris, couldn't even translate the name of a horse to it, but I can tell a beautiful thing when I see it)))
You'll write that song, I believe in you and I'm ...  more

I'll continue to refine the grammar as I get better acquainted with the mechanics of the language. I will need to write the song soon. I keep saying it, but it needs to happen. The melody is replaying in my head and I need to just jot it down already.

I am the pillow holder. When she shops for pillows, I hold them. She has pillows for different seasons and I think, for Christmas.

Red bear, white bear, what's the difference? You're not missing much Ebonslayer. I didn't know you had another sister; my brother's wife is obsessed with pillows too. There's nowhere to sit on their couches!
