A Sharmat's Dream

  • I AM A SHARMAT

    I AM OLDER THAN MUSIC

    WHAT I BRING IS LIGHT

WHAT I BRING IS A STAR

    WHAT I BRING IS

    AN ANCIENT SEA

WHEN YOU SLEEP YOU SEE ME

    DANCING AT THE CORE

    IT IS NOT A BLIGHT

    IT IS MY HOUSE

    I PUT A STAR

    INTO THE WORLDS MOUTH

    TO MURDER IT

    TEAR DOWN THE PYLONS

    MY BLIND FISH

    SWIM IN THE NEW

    PHLOGISTON

    TEAR DOWN THE PYLONS

    MY DEAF MOONS

    SING AND BURN

    AND ORBIT ME

    I AM OLDER THAN MUSIC

    WHAT I BRING IS LIGHT

WHAT IS BRING IS A STAR

    WHAT I BRING IS

    AN ANCIENT SEA

    HERE IN HIS SHRINE

    THAT THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN

    HERE DO WE TOIL

    THAT WE MIGHT REMEMBER

    BY NIGHT WE RECLAIM

    WHAT BY DAY WAS STOLEN

    FAR FROM OURSELVES

HE GROWS EVER NEAR TO US

    OUR EYES ONCE WERE BLINDED

NOW THROUGH HIM DO WE SEE

    OUR HANDS ONCE WERE IDLE

NOW THROUGH THEM DOES HE SPEAK

AND WHEN THE WORLD SHALL LISTEN

AND WHEN THE WORLD SHALL SEE

    AND WHEN THE WORLD REMEMBERS

THAT WORLD SHALL CEASE TO BE.

He very well could be Phil. There is a lot of similarity between Miraak and Dagoth. Could he be Sharmat reborn from the Dreamsleeve?

As I said, this getting even deeper. Soon you'll start digging a hole with this thing.

Nice, Veloth! There are definitely similarities there I hadn't considered before. So if Voryn is the false dreamer does that mean you think Miraak is too?

I was actually reading the sermons for story research, that poem is beautiful. Shame it is Dagoth's stuff.
