    The Burning Blood
    A Prologue

"It has been five days since it happened last time. It just cannot happen again, not today."

Perched atop of the Bannered Mare Inn, Sting was looking down at the stalls of the Whiterun market. As always, he had one of his bows in hand, polishing them or refilling them with magic. He was waiting for that Redguard woman to finish the packing. Looking up at the night sky a first drop of incoming heavy rain fell on his face.

"Just please, not today," he thought to himself, while worryingly  looking down towards

the stables. "I have to calm down. She betrayed her people, so my actions today are good. I had to lie to her, or did I? Is she innocent?"
The noise of a door being closed alarms him, making his heart pound even more. Below him was indeed the dark skinned woman, seemingly ready for a long horse ride.

"Take a deep breath, and calm down", he thought, but in vain. His blood veins was already starting to glow blue."Keep calm, and proceed with the plan. I'll have to deal with this later, just get it done", he kept telling himself.

With a gentle leap Sting jumps off the roof and lands not too far from the woman.
      "Let us be off",
she said. With a nod Sting leads the way through the main gates and down to the stable. When reaching the stables he sees the Alik'r warrior named Kemato, while trying to suppress the burning pain. Sting nods towards the man and stops walking letting the woman reach and climb a horse. As soon as she was sitting comfortably a sudden green light envelops around the body, paralyzing her.
"Well done, Arcane Archer. You made a good choice today. She will be brought to justice",
said Kemato, while throwing a coin purse towards Sting.
Nodding Sting starts to back away but stops to say: "Do not hurt her."
With a laugh, the Alik'r says: "I won't, at least not in Skyrim." Kemato jumps up on the horse behind the woman and rides off. In a sudden rush of anger and confusment Sting reaches for the bow called Hoarfrost, readying an arrow. As he was about to loose the arrow he let out a scream as the pain in his veins reached new heights.

Sting lay there the whole night, with no one coming to his help. There are not many nords helping those who glow blue.
