Children In Skyrim

  • Having children in a game where one can kill is EXTREMELY controversial.

I realize this, and am not trying to start a fight. I personally believe Bethesda is right, and children should be immortal in Skyrim. Can that be a pain for an assassin or thief? Of course it can. But if you want to kill a child, just get a mod on the PC, I'm sure some sick person will create one.

Now that that's out of the way, let's have friendly discussion.

We know marriage is in Skyrim, do you want the ability to produce children? How would you want it to work? How will children fit into other quests? Will they play a major role, or will they play a lesser role?

I agree, dont kill the children, but atleast make them go away when their parents are killed, very anoying to have a bunch of immortal  orphans running around.

I can understand bethesda's aversion to making children killable in the game (apparently the adoring fan doesn't count, lol.)  A very simple mod to make, im sure. Even in oblivion, it was a sinch to unessentialize a character.

i guess i haven't given children in the game much of a thought. but snce you bring up assassinations and killing i wonder if doing so in the presence of children you will always get a bounty. thats lame, not that i want to kill kids but hopefully Bethesda...  more

Can't we just keep the virtual contraception in place?  Don't want kids running around attracting the dragons now do we!
