Previous Entry: An Orc follows to the Death

Disgusting! These women, these priestesses of Dibella….daedric whores every one of them! Scales and I, we returned to Markarth with the child. Who was not where she was supposed to be, but that's another story…. At least I got to kill something, wish I was one of those whores…. When we returned to the temple, the whores starting spouting off some shit about Scales being blessed by Dibella (and completely pretending I, a strong orc warrior was not standing right in front of them too) and how their goddess wanted them to reward him. Stendarr’s hairy arsehole I havn’t heard some bullshit since that khajiit came to the stronghold trying to sell us Malakath’s Butter Knife which was clearly a simple iron sword. Father almost turned him into the new rug for the hearth. Hmmm perhaps that is what I should do with those Dibella whores...probably be too small for a rug, punny bitches, maybe a door mat…..

I don’t believe Scales would have done it if they hadn’t tricked him into drinking that strange drink. Said it was some strange potion and that damned argonian’s curiosity was peaked by the mention of potion. Poison more like. Dibella whore poison….. I can still hear them when I close my eyes….. I need to go kill something…..

It has been a few days since...the incident. Scales seems completely normal, as if nothing happened. I swear there isn’t enough forsworn in the reach to sate my rage. I said I wanted my blood boiling when I left the stronghold and it still is. The fact that Scales either doesn’t notice or doesn’t care about my grim look does little to cool my mood. Concentrating on work seems to be my only outlet. A priest from the nord’s hall of the dead hired us to check out the crypt in Markarth. Said something has been eating the bones and bodies there. Probably a troll that wandered in somehow or a nest of skeevers. I hope it's a whole lot of skeevers….or one big ass troll….

Cannibals! Eating the dead? Not sure how I feel about that one. I have a stomach of iron and a heart of steel but something about eating the flesh of another makes my lip curl. Some cult of cannibals was eating the bodies of Markarth’s dead. Not only did Scales decline to kill her right there on the spot, he promised to help her clear out some old nordic barrow! Not sure I approve of this sort of company but if he thinks there is something to be gained from allying ourselves with this Eola I trust his judgement….mostly...Malacath knows he has made a mistake or two in the past…

I might be sick. Priest might agree with some but I don’t think I much care for it. I would much rather have a nice bear flank or venison chop, even a fatty horker loaf. Scales doesn’t seem to mind it, then again Scales doesn’t seem to mind anything. I watched him eat an entire sabre cat one night, everything except the pelt and bones! Don’t much care for tricking that priest into getting eaten though. Malacath doesn’t much care for honorless killing of this kind. Then again...don’t think Malacath will care much for some imperial priest, always throwing around their words while hiding behind weak gods instead of using their strength and letting a strong god witness their deeds. This Eola seems alright though, little shifty in the eyes...err eye. But she's a good fighter and seems to wield powerful arcane magics. I can see why Scales would rather her an ally instead of an enemy. We are staying the night here in the barrow with her, should at least be a warmer, dryer night than all those by the campfire. I will go check on them...hopefully they are done their….meal.

    ----------------------------

Tramp! Walked right up to Scales just now and just...just...stripped! What is with all these women in the Reach? Do they have no honor? No self worth? I spend my life preparing to be a good wife to another orc chieftain, keeping my clan’s honor all that while, and these women just.... fuck the biggest guy in the room? While I begrudgingly admire the audacity I….I...fuck! I am the daughter of Chief Larak and yet here I write like some jealous little maid hiding in the next room writing in my journal. Pathetic! Malacath should strike me down for this feebleness……. And Scales! Again he spurns me! Me! An orc warrior and future wife of a mighty chieftain! I am sick of feeling the heat of my blood for that bloody lizard. Tomorrow I will let him lead me to our next task and I will repay my debt to him but when this is all over I am walking away from the brute and I am not looking back. Perhaps I will join the legion, as father did. Knocking some imperial whelps around seems a lot better than following the rigid lizard around. Animal.

Next Entry: You sure? Fine. I'll stand watch.

Hah, what an awesome chapter Armo, gotta love the reactions here (and of course Scales just casually not reacting). Very fun chapter this one, seems like Phil's sort of thing.

Oh, somebody's jealous! Likely, likely. I want Malacath's Butter Knife. It can sit on the shel next to Ysgramor's Soup Spoon and the Fork of Horripilation.
Two thoughts: Stendarr’s hairy arsehole is a great sentence, and also "

Lol thanks Phil I had a blast writing this one! Can't wait to get the next one out. I really loved Inigo when I first started writing him but Butgakh really takes it to a new level!
