    Hi everyone, how are you all doing?

    I'm making this post to let you all know that Emer will be away until the 19th, and during that time he has asked me to look after the site.

    I'll try to keep things running as smoothly as possible until Emer's return, but until then, we have some featured content on the way. Tomorrow we have video of the week. Will it be one of the many E3 videos we've seen posted this week, or one of the older ones some of you may have missed?

    We also can get back to our first character build showcase in over a month! Now we can get back to seeing the best the group has to offer each week, and give you guys and gals something fun and unique to start playing. Look out for it on Sunday!

    Last but not least we have the weekly poll for Monday. Now I'm still giving this one some thought, but I'd love to hear some suggestions in the comments. Should it be something linked to Elder Scrolls Online at E3, or should we stick with something more specific to Skyrim?

    To wrap up guys, if any of you have queries or concerns over the weekend, send them to me. I'll sort as many of them as I can out myself, and those I can't I will forward to Emer for his return.

    Now, as my first official action as overlord of The Skyrim Blog, I decree that all builds shall now choose Orc as the recommended race. That is all.

    I know, I forget, I'm in the UK and Emer (spelt 'Emma' over here) is strictly a girl's name, so I get confused.

    @Nelaf as someone that's been watching ESO stuff I thought you'd recall that they mentioned several times they weren't announcing the payment model!

    I can see an ESO poll with 5 options, 1 for each of the 3 factions, Not going to play, and not sure yet

    Does the faction only determine the race and main quest or is there also something else?

    Also @Ben you select your faction at character creation, it determines what races you can play...

    I would love to see a poll about ESO, a lot of people still haven't posted which faction they'll join first and a poll about that on the front page might get more reactions so we could get an idea.
