Christmas and New Year on The Skyrim Blog

  • Christmas is a few days away - I don't know about you but my life is becoming very hectic!

So I've decided to change things a little for the next couple of weeks. Don't worry the site will still be here and open for business! However, after a run of something like 200 days when I've posted a new blog every single day - and often more than one per day - I'm taking a break for the next two weeks.

To try something a bit different, I'm going to change things around so that the Discussion part of the site is featured on the front page. It's where much of the activity is these days, so it makes sense to try and promote it at a time when things will be a bit quieter on the rest of the site.

You will still be able to post blogs, add videos and photos and contribute to Groups - all of that will still be accessible via the tabs at the top of the main page, or by scrolling down - but it will the Forums that will be centre stage for the next fortnight. I'll be checking in regularly and posting in discussions, and I'll also be asking one or two of the Site Hosts to keep an eye on things too. So, don't think its a 'free for all' - inappropriate content will still be moderated!

I'll be making the changes to the front page later this evening.

I'm also just about to post a new poll to run across the Christmas and New Year period, and it is about the races in Skyrim. Which of the ten races do you think has been most improved from previous Elder Scrolls games? So don't forget to vote on that new poll, and add your comments in a post in the forums that I'll be starting shortly. You won't be able to post comments on this thread!

Anyway, let's see how things go with this slightly different format over the next couple of weeks....
