New poll on the Skyrim Guilds

    There was a lot of speculation before the game released concerning the Guilds - especially as to whether they would be improved from their Oblivion counterparts

    Now that we've had a couple of weeks to play, it is time to ask whether Bethesda managed to deliver...

    Looking at the four main Guilds (yes, I know there are other quest lines, but they'll be in other poll) which do you think most delivers the goods? Do you think that the quest lines are long enough, for example? I know that some are saying that they think they are too short.

    Have they captured the right 'mood' with the Guilds? I know that the Thieves Guild seems to be like 'marmite' - some people love it, some people hate it. But why?

    Then there's the question of what you do once the scripted quests are done with. Yes, I'm talking about the randomly generated quests that you get given for as long as you want them. Are they interesting and diverse enough to bother with?

    Just one thing- this ay be a it off on this post, but I'm a werewolf and I realized that a post bwfore this site went Ning confirmed there was no werewolves, but nonetheless I have no complaints. Beast Form rocks!

    Saving them for later!  I'm part of the Circle and was just initiated into the Thieves Guild.  The main quest is incredibly interesting, not just for a Bethesda game...

    I didn't vote because I haven't got to play all of them yet.  I'm up to the last quest in the College of Winterhold though.  I wish Bethesda could have made the CoW quest line a little longer and with a ranking system.. I think it's quite odd how all thes...  more

    i think the college and DB were the to winners here, but the oblivion DB still takes the cake.

    I've done all the guilds, and my favorites are probably the college and dark brotherhood. The companions felt extremely random and nonsensical, and the thieves guild... wasn't really that bad, if you like avoiding fights, which I don't. The "restoring the...  more

    All the guild quests were way too short for me. Since the ranking system is gone from all the guilds until you're the leader, you can't really tell how far you are and then when it's all over, you're surprised and disappointed. The Companions was especial...  more

    So far I've done the college and done of the companions. In the college they said your rising in the ranks pretty quickly...i never even seen a rank (seriously). I blinked and became arch mage.....yes I'm still mad it went that fast. The companions quests...  more

    While I thought the dark brotherhood was great, the college seems much more interesting-like there is a lot more at stake. I haven't finished the college yet, though, so maybe I should wait a little longer.

    I feel the theives guild improved, the storyline was more than... Get this so we can get this so we can.... I liked how it did branch out to arson, bullying and other nefarious activities, more like the mafia lol
