There's a patch coming.....

  • News from Bethesda via Pete Hines' Twitter, that a patch is coming - maybe by as early as the end of the coming week.

Most of the angst that I've seen on forums is that the problems are principally on XBox and PS3 - and that is a surprise to me. I'd always thought that part of the attraction of consoles is that they are a stable and 'common' platform as compared to the 'modular' PC where there can be huge variety in graphic cards, memory, processors etc. On the whole you would expect PC users to be ones having the 'issues' but it doesn't seem to be that way with Skyrim.

I've got to be honest, I've not had any issues at all in my (compared to some here) modest amount of game time. No crashes. No bugged quests. No glitches. Just super smooth graphics (I'm playing on Ultra) and a stable game!

Are you getting problems and issues with your Skyrim game? What do you think need 'fixing' in this next patch? Share your thoughts on this thread.

One thats started to really annoy me on 360 is dragon's having no texture. They have the overall shape of dragons but they just occasionally fail to load their textures and are instead a single block of colour, kind of look like they were drawn on Paint o...  more

Hilarious Glitch! I used my Ice Form shout on a bear literally as my companion was using lightning to kill it. It froze as it died. When it thawed, it popped up of the ground and began running in place! It was dead and could be looted, but it was running ...  more

I've only had one or two frezzes on my 360, so nothing gamebreaking (though very annoying) And one quest I did for the thieves guild, I walked in to Markarth for the first time with a bounty on my head, and was sent to their "prison". When I got out they ...  more

My game has frame drops, I'll be glad to get rid of those...
Hopefully my wife reappears... I married Muiri, and she was at the Hag's Cure. One day, she's gone. I'm pretty sure I didn't kill her... Maybe she's jealous of my female companions? XD

No issues!  My game looks beautiful on low.  I have a few frame rate slowdowns and a crash, but that was because of long stretches of gameplay.
