NEW POLL : 24 hours into the post-release world of Skyrim

  • Well, most of us will now have had chance to dip our toes into the world of Skyrim.

I don't know about anyone else but I certainly feel that I've barely scratched the surface yet. But that's OK, because this game - together with DLC and mods - will be my main game for some years to come. I'm happy to be taking it slow, discovering stuff as I go, and savouring the experience...

Today's new poll - which, incidentally, goes into the slot that the now redundant countdown clock was - is asking the question What do you think so far?

Are you excited, thrilled and overwhelmed - or perhaps just a tad disappointed. The Official Forums - perhaps inevitably - have got a significant proportion of 'haters'. Are you one of them? This is the poll and topic to share your views.

Meanwhile, I feel the pull of my Khajiit Assassin to get back to his pressing concerns in Whiterun...

Berand Stone-Hand has definitely gotten mauled by some of the wildlife while looking at the scenery.

Maglir of Woodhearth doesn't fast travel!  I have gone almost all the way around the map, picking up a few quests, but not getting too involved.  I'll be heading back to Riverwood in a week or two (in-game),

I must say I'm in awe! The awe factor isn't just from graphics or script but how it makes you feel like your truly in that world. Its definitely different from oblivion, every issue oblivion had was addressed here. I like how todd incorporated both creatu...  more

I actually love sitting in the shadows and listening to the bandits in the dungeons banter. they actually carry on a conversation instead of just wandering around aimlessly. XD one of them even started to sing at one point, it was a shame it put an arrow ...  more
