What the Tamriel Vault has meant to me?

  Hello all, Todd here. 

  Over the last five years, The Skyrim Blog / TamrielVault has been home to many wonderful members. Over that time we have all contributed to this community in our own way (even you, Lurkers!) and we've all helped make this community the wonderful place that it is. I thought that there would be no better way to commemorate the Vault's fifth birthday than to share with you all what this site means to me! 

  I've been a member of this site since the very beginning - way back when we were just a Wordpress Blog - and even then I loved coming back to this place. Seeing the community interact with each other, seeing all of the fantastic content posted here, and posting some fantastic (read: relatively decent) content here always made me feel good, and that is one of the main reasons I kept coming back here. However it was not THE reason. What always brought me back here were the people. I'm sure by now all of us have heard the phrase "come for the [insert content focus here], stay for the community," and that is definitely the case with me. Had it not been for the community then I don't think the Vault would have survived to this day. 

  In my five years as a collective member, Host, and Owner of this site, this site has become a part of me. It's been a place for me to come to when I needed to escape, it's been a place to make friends, and it's been almost like a second home to me. Regardless of whether my schedules allows me to have time to actually comment here or not, coming here to see what all of my friends are doing has become one of the staples of my daily routine.

  This site, along with every single one of its members, means a lot to me - I hope the same can be said for a lot of you.
