Introducing 'The Gateway'

    Hot News! As part of our 5th Birthday Celebrations we are pleased to announce the launch of The Tamriel Vault's newest and freshest Group... The Gateway

    This group is mainly the brainchild of Edana, and so I can't do better than have her tell you what its all about in her own words

    Keep your finger on the pulse of what's going on with the games we love. Hear some interesting news?  Post it here and to keep the community informed.

    Connect with other Vault members here, on Steam, DeviantArt, Bethsoft, Twitch, and other social sites. Point us to cool happenings, and post your favorite in-game adventures and screenshots to share with the community and other gamers across the web. 

    New to the community or are you a lurker thinking of joining? Start here to get a sense what's happening across the site.

    This group is unique in that it will be headed up by the Admin Team! That alone should tell that its a 'must join' group - because its going to be the place for announcements, site news, latest developments and much more. 

    And straight off the bat we are looking for your screenshots (Elder Scrolls and Fallout) that we can use across our social media, and also for the headers on front page posts. Think how much cooler it would be to log on to the site and, instead of some random image from Google up there, you are looking at a screenshot that YOU took...

    So what are you waiting for. Get over to The Gateway and hit 'Join'..

    Ah thanks Edana, that does clarify it a bit (though really, we did have the Fourm Category dedicated to this kind of stuff...not sure what happened to it)

    Good questions guys! Thanks for taking a look at the group. Right now when we post news features we either have to do so in the blogs, or write up a feature for the homepage and it has no where to "go" or link to, and it gets deleted when we need to updat...  more

    I'm with these guys. Now sure I follow what the group's about. Should the GC not be the host for the gaming news?

    So is this sort of like a combination of the forums and general gaming? It seems a bit broad to just be a group. Don't quite understand the core purpose of it.
    Or is this sort of a test run for expanding these updates over the rest of the site?
