We are FIVE today

  Yes, its true! The original Skyrim Blog was launched on April 1st 2011 - which means that today is our fifth birthday.

  To celebrate this not-inconsiderable achievement, we are going to be having a few days of special features here on the site. There will be a special forum topics, mini-events, a birthday poll and more. 

  Many of our most long-standing, venerable Groups are producing 'retrospectives' - where they will pick out the highlights of their particular niche over these five years. Look out for those posted over the next few days!

  Tomorrow I'm posting something that I've been working on for a while (at least in my head... I do need to actually translate that into type!) called 'The 10 things you NEVER knew about The Skyrim Blog'. Hopefully that will give you a fascinating insight into the history of the site.

  And if you're feeling creatively inspired, head on over to the Birthday Bard for a Day topic.
