Away for much of this week....

    I'm going on a conference this week connected with my job. 

    Supposedly the conference centre has wifi... it remains to be seen how stable or fast it will be (my experience with this places is that it tends to be slow and unreliable!)

    But we've got a plan...

    FORUM DISCUSSIONS :  Kevin and Titan have set up some daily discussion topics and will be pulling the trigger on those as the week goes on

    BLOGS I will be switching the front page over from 'only my blogs' to 'featured blogs'. The blog hosts - Madison Jade, Emer, Piper Jo and Charlie will be featuring interesting and lively blogs as the week goes on - so you might just get to see your blog on the front page of this site! Get cracking with your writing then and you might get 'featured'

    PHOTOS, VIDEOS and Q&A will continue as usual with their hosts keeping an eye on things...

    GROUPS are increasingly becoming hubs of activity. Go to the Lore Group to talk lore with Vix and the others; or Character Builds to chat about your characters. Click on Groups to see the different options for Groups.

    At the very minimum I'll have 3G on the iPhone so I'll be able to validate new members and do a few basic back end tasks from there. But basically the site hosts will be in the hot seat. And I'll be back on Thursday.

    I just wanted to clear something up, it will be Ashley (Marx) and I doing the Forum Discussions, not Titan.

    Paul, I just found out you are 52 years old. Which makes you the same age as my father (1959), and on that count I would like to withdraw my previous post, as you probably are the employer at your business. But still, thumbs up on the site!

    You're doing a great job with this site, and from experience business owners only tend to take their best employees on business trips. And it shows in the way you handle this site. Making it interesting every day.

    Main page now altered to show 'featured posts'. Throughout the week the blog hosts wil lbe featuring the best and most interesting blogs from our members
    If you wrote something interesting, who knows, you might end up on the front page!

    I hope it isn't too tedious, Paul!  I assume "much of this week" means you'll be back on the tenth?
